Bobcolby - 13 Jan 2005 08:47 - 2542 of 11056

Just closed cable longs. Still bullish and looking to buy back in at next opportunity

jeffmack - 13 Jan 2005 09:15 - 2543 of 11056

The 1.8885 level seems to be holding on cable. I'm long from here

mostrader - 13 Jan 2005 09:24 - 2544 of 11056

mng jeff does seem to be a support so far 8880 was old res level so shud be s/t support

Maggot - 13 Jan 2005 09:27 - 2545 of 11056

Went long Cable @97 at 8.30 am, stop at 80 - which it almost hit. That definitely looks a big resistance level now.

I note that every commentator is saying that the dollar will resume its fall shortly; experience tells me that when everybody agrees on something the opposite is very likely to happen! But have I the balls to bet on it?

edit. Stop just hit. What do I know?

hilary - 13 Jan 2005 09:30 - 2546 of 11056

I'm a dollar bull this morning. Moooooooo.

hilary i do agree i think usd may rally going into the jan/feb season when dlr does appreciate but from early march i see renewed usd weakness....

hilary - 13 Jan 2005 09:34 - 2548 of 11056

I wasn't thinking that far ahead, mostrader. I can't see past the next couple of hours atm.

MG
I thought you were a leader not a follower

chocolat - 13 Jan 2005 10:02 - 2553 of 11056

short 18891 - dunno if 18860 will hold

Bobcolby - 13 Jan 2005 10:14 - 2554 of 11056

Just had a farcical situation with my mouse. It had gone to "sleep" whilst I was having a shower and pointer was on place buy order box (CMC). I wanted to close long at 95 and the only way I cud get mouse to work was to click. I then had bought at 98 and had to reverse trade to lose 7 pips. Could have been worse. Flat now ,looking for buy opp on Cable before midday.

chocolat - 13 Jan 2005 10:19 - 2555 of 11056

Pesky little things, mice - you should've just whacked it,Bob ;)

Bobcolby - 13 Jan 2005 10:26 - 2556 of 11056

Small on Long cable again at 78, hoping to buy more at 60.

Bobcolby - 13 Jan 2005 10:30 - 2557 of 11056

Choccie my mouse has gone to the little mouse heaven in the sky. Via my dustbin :))

mg - 13 Jan 2005 10:41 - 2558 of 11056

jeff
It's Saint Hilary's Day today (seriously) - the patron saint of Forex (not necessarily seriously) - so I'm doing my pennance.

The only thing I've ever led was a Girl Guide troop - until I introduced a special badge - the authorities didn't agree that it would make them more able to undertake more adventurous pursuits !!!

Hils taught me all I know ;)

jeffmack - 13 Jan 2005 10:50 - 2559 of 11056

MG, arnt we all disciples of queen Hilary.

Stopped out of my cable long now long USD/YEN

Tellon - 13 Jan 2005 10:51 - 2560 of 11056
