Yes even at .24p that over £200,000 worth.
About 3 weeks total trades in one deal.
Either someone knows something or has that much cash to throw away.

halifax - 08 Jan 2008 15:36 - 25424 of 27111

You guys/gals in the assylum know more about this share than anybody . Can you tell me if I am right in saying that the cash in their accounts as at 30/6/07 was greater than the market value of the company? If so .....?

dawall - 08 Jan 2008 15:45 - 25425 of 27111

can't see the trades at the moment but was it a buy or a sell or some sort of other transfer? not even an idiot would spend 200k on a new investment in SEO unless either

a/ they knew something we didn't or
b/ they were thinking of taking the business over, if which is the case they have a long way to go.

halifax - 08 Jan 2008 16:05 - 25426 of 27111

According to my calculation the market capitalisation of SEO is 7million and as at 30/06/07 they had cash of 9million.

driver - 08 Jan 2008 16:21 - 25427 of 27111

halifax
Yes but the cash burn is £1m a month we like to pay our directors well all the good work they do.

halifax - 08 Jan 2008 16:24 - 25428 of 27111

Sure but whatever other assets SEO owns are in the sp for free.

PATISEAR - 08 Jan 2008 16:24 - 25429 of 27111

I think it's more like 300k a month. We dont like them that much.

driver - 08 Jan 2008 16:29 - 25430 of 27111

PATISEAR
Then we should give them a rise. the sp is up 12% in a day their incredible.

hewittalan6 - 08 Jan 2008 16:29 - 25431 of 27111

We should find out tomorrow, cos 85m shares is about 2.7% of the company.
It must have taken someone over 3%, and possibly have dropped the odd insti by 1%+.
In either case, an RNS is required.
Unless it is a totally new investor, in which case they will surely not stop at 2.7%.

The suspense is really killing me, I can't wait.

required field - 08 Jan 2008 16:37 - 25433 of 27111

Guys, let's be sensible here, have a look at the oil stocks, even if you are down to just a few hundred pounds it's best to put it into something worthwhile.

hewittalan6 - 08 Jan 2008 16:52 - 25434 of 27111

rf,
to have a few hundred pounds in SEO would rank you alongside people like morgan stanley, and I don't recall seeing them post on here.
Secondly, we don't invest for profit, just for a form of macabre self flagellation, so please allow us to whip ourselves into a hysterical frenzy, before the reality appears.
Foreplay was always the most fun.
;-)

You know, I think I'm going to give up, sigh....!

halifax - 08 Jan 2008 17:02 - 25436 of 27111

Spread has widened to .25/.29 flurry of small sells near close are we being frightened off?

automatic - 08 Jan 2008 17:20 - 25437 of 27111

halifax
i was a long time ago

oblomov - 08 Jan 2008 17:31 - 25438 of 27111

200,000 worth of shares bought?

I've heard PM1 has sold his house.....

qeistba - 08 Jan 2008 17:36 - 25439 of 27111

I heard PM1 had recently applied and been accepted for more than 50 new credit cards. If this goes tits up he'll be jumping off a large building. With a bit of luck obviously.

blackdown - 08 Jan 2008 17:40 - 25440 of 27111

One thing that this thread does prove: that the quality of the stock is inversely proportional to the number of postings.

tweenie - 08 Jan 2008 18:00 - 25441 of 27111

I hope whoever brought them does'nt end up a nominee for the DARWIN AWARDS.

halifax - 08 Jan 2008 18:06 - 25442 of 27111

Whoever bought into SEO today has to have a very good reason.
