The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

So now you're saying you've traded MDX, Tabatha? Make your mind up. You're either in it "long term" or you're in and out.
Can't have it both ways, old bean.

Didn't know Buffett ever traded either. He buys regardless. The difference is he buys quality not dreams.
So, what you're saying for all your investing and trading over what is probably several years, you are still in arrears. I'd be seriously unhappy with that and would be massively reassessing my strategies.
The defence rests yet again.

Why even attempt to preach to anyone who would never listen anyway, sunbeam? Back to your "friend". LOL! As it is a friend its hardly surprising they "sussed me out". Same sausage machine, no doubt. ;-0
As Chocolat rightly pointed out last week, bears of any stock have a right to post the negatives on that stock to provide a balanced view from which the majority of silent posters can weigh up whether or not to invest / trade. Rightly quoted in that post was the title of this thread. It has not lived up to that billing by a long way and even you are down on it by your own admission. There are people out there who might trawl the boards in need of making some good money and then they come across the drivel posted by the likes of yourself screaming from the rooftops that this in "the one". It may be in the future, but it certainly has NOT been in the past 5 years. That is fact, my friend, and don't forget it.
Why on earth do you think all hell breaks loose at their AGM? It's because the likes of yourself, Scottie, etc, the baying hordes, simply cannot believe they were wrong. Face up to it, your "buy" timing has been God awful, despite your years in the game, on this one.
Personally, I'll take my own tack and keep my own council on how much I make from the markets. Thanks awfully for asking, though.

Tabby, I can't verify anything, you posted some figures which you claimed were your holdings. I hold 1.12 million shares in SOLA most of which were naturally bought at the bottom, average purchase price - 224p.

I am beginning to get pissed off with others stupidityfirst point I am not interested in bprg and the past and have never said as suchyou keep harping on about the pastwho cares a/fthose earning dayswin loose or draw are goneI have said mdx was a chance in a lifetime investmentI have only built up a large holding since RT changed directions.you are the plonker that did your nuts in the pastI see you are throwing in a It may be this is the one in the future comment..................little change of direction there..nice cover!
I have bought and sold mdx a number of timesand the stock has been very kind to mein fact very kind! I have never shouted about at AGM love RT rest of bod we will see Revenue growth in H1 2008 of 270% to circa 23.5 million from 8.7 million in H1 2007: results in line with Meldex's budget and towards the top end of market guidance.things are going well! and In this climate ..incredible.How on earth can that make my judgement wrong.Ill tell you what it does make.your judgement worthless
PT I thought you were intelligentnow I am not so sure?of course you cannot verify my contractsall I was saying was the companies I hold were posted on this site as an answer to your question and most have improved a considerable amountwhether you believe they were fantasy or not is academicthats all .it aint rocket science.then you come back at me with some off the cuff sarcastic claim.Fu**ing mad the lot of you what is up with people? bunch of cranks!

Err, it was not a sarcastic claim, merely a statement of fact.
The point I was making re your 'investments' was that it is all very well posting after the fact, it doesn't mean or prove anything. To be honest it doesn't really mean a great deal posting before the fact either, this is a BB, you can be whoever you want to be and make it up pretty much as you go along.
Incidentally, I don't think I qualify as a MDX basher, I have stated my views and the factual reasons for them. The latest of which have caused no comment from you or anyone else. I'm happy to engage in a proper debate with regard to the fundamentals (within my limited knowledge) but it seems no-one else has done the research, seemingly preferring to copy and paste elements of RNS releases, rather than question the contents. How many times have companies issued a statement saying all is well with progress, turnover, business etc only for a profit warning to hit the streets a week later? Like Dil, I also wondered why MDX have changed their NOMAD/Broker yet again. When quoting the revenus growth for H1, just remember the majority of that growth was acquired not created, MDX paid for it.

Talking of cranks who the f**k is your new friend Tabby? Now hondaman really is bringing credibility to the thread. I had to check twice after the close to see where the SP finished, unless I'm mistaken it was 30p, so what's this rubbish about closing at 40p? Now we have 50p tomorrow and yet another bid approach. You must be really desperate if you're hanging onto the coat tails of this idiot.

As one of the silent posters Al refers to, I have been looking to see if (amongst all the diatribes) there is a business worth investing in - and I am an investor, not a trader. The recent trading update was indeed very bullish, but tellingly imo makes no mention of cash. Exponential growth takes a lot of funding - latest figs for year to 12/07 show operating cash outflows of 6M and new financing of around 9m almost funding the acquisition costs. Year end free cash just under 2M. No indication of what has happened to the cash position so far in 2008 - presumably increased sales mean increased stocks and increased debtors to be financed. No news might prove to be good news, in which case tab, scott and hondaman can rightly say they told everybody so, but I stay well out of it until cash position is clarified.
