It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

I couldn't care less whether England miss him or not, Dilbert. I prefer it when Chelsea players don't get called up for international duty.

But Chelsea have definitely missed him though.

I think chelsea are not as good as liverpool on sunday 7th of november, would that be about right ?

Chris Carson - 08 Nov 2010 16:32 - 257 of 6918

Hils - Chelsea were poor, Liverpool were not that great. Strange don't you think Torres's miraculous return to form, didn't want to know against Everton other week. Maybe the smell of a Russian cheque book wafting in his nostrils perhaps? Torres and Gerard in blue and send Lampard back to West ham, go on you know you'd love it. :O)

"I prefer it when Chelsea players don't get called up for international duty"

The thing that irritates me most in English football is when the goalie gets hold of the ball and boots it upfield anywhere...now Schmeichel of Man U was very precise with his dishing out of the ball....but now most of the keepers just bang it anywhere...now I know that you cannot always start from the back because the other side would push you back, but some improvements of ball distribution are necessary in the UK....just take a look at the old Bayern Munich of Franz Beckenbauer's day....from the back going forward was excellent....

Thanks Hilary...shall investigate further...

"against a big team like Liverpool" .... your aving a laff , ask Blackpool :-)

3 bets....to win...Spurs, Qpr and Leeds....not one of them came right !...(:-(....

HARRYCAT - 10 Nov 2010 08:46 - 263 of 6918

They were very tricky yesterday, rf. I left well alone, but would have expected Watford, Ipswich and QPR to have won, so money saved.

required field - 10 Nov 2010 09:02 - 264 of 6918

I'm going for Milan AC at home to beat Palermo tonight.....odds 1.57....and Milan are in form....

HARRYCAT - 10 Nov 2010 09:22 - 265 of 6918

Big money on then at that price?

required field - 10 Nov 2010 10:05 - 266 of 6918

50.

required field - 10 Nov 2010 10:08 - 267 of 6918

60 quid now....

required field - 11 Nov 2010 09:11 - 268 of 6918

Won on Milan.....but lost on Celtic, Newcastle and Liverpool.....no point on betting on any UK clubs apart from Chelsea....and for that you have to be watching as odds are too small......might as well forget the saturday uk matches.....no outstanding team this year....look abroad for good bets : for friday check out Borussia Dortmund - Hamburg.....going for Borussia to win.....1.72...

HARRYCAT - 11 Nov 2010 09:19 - 269 of 6918

Bl**dy Liverpool. I thought they had turned the corner, but pants again!

hilary - 11 Nov 2010 09:22 - 270 of 6918

You should know better than to trust a scouser, Harry. They'll nick your hubcaps as soon as your back is turned.

:o)

required field - 11 Nov 2010 09:33 - 271 of 6918

Better bets abroad now...odds are much better....skip the Barcelona one...Villareal are very good this year and could surprise...

HARRYCAT - 11 Nov 2010 09:54 - 272 of 6918

But it's not just the money, rf. It's also having an interest in the players & the team, so betting on some local italian or spanish team isn't the same, imo.

required field - 11 Nov 2010 09:57 - 273 of 6918

Well I root for Leeds UTD.....and I would not bet all the time on them....I now prefer betting on the overseas teams where I seem to have far more success overall....the british teams are either unreliable or the odds are a joke...Chelsea at 1.2 (decimal) to win....you have to be joking.....

HARRYCAT - 11 Nov 2010 10:57 - 274 of 6918

Well, if you are a Leeds supporter no wonder! Try the Turkish Kupasi or the Iranian League Matches on Sportingbet!!! ;o)
