349 and managed to get some accessories thrown in as I was the first person they had sold one to. Now I have to remember my password on MSN. One of those irritating black dot thingies means I can't tell what I said originally. No obvious place to find out either. Hmm.....back to the manual, I suppose.
Really easy to set up.

Sounds good, vasey. Can it paint toenails and do the ironing as well?

Morning all, phew..close call for England; thought they seemed v.jaded and Samoa played out of their Socs! and what about the Irish, 1 point!!!
Same with Chelsea yesterday eh Hils.
Din't know your lot had a new manager Jeffers!?!>
Great night out yesterday, braii and booze, for some reason I got absolutely hammered and today I feel v. delicate so its the corner of the cafe for me and do some gentle people watching.
Socs...at the antique fair suggest you keep moving so they all know you're not for sale...
360 for a bloody irritating phone, the worlds gone mad. What happened in life before they came along. I remember the first one I had, motorola with a battery they weighed a ton, crazy!!

There aren't any gentle people to watch around here, lw.
And Chelsea yesterday? I thought that the mark of good side was when they get the points even when they're below par. MU have been playing like that for years.
Personally I wouldn't pay 360 for a mobile phone unless it could do the ironing as well. In fact I turn my phone off at 5pm and all weekend. J's exactly the same. If anyone wants to talk to us, they can wait till Monday.

Where did 360 come from? Not me! Funny you should ask, Hil, the advantage of this is I can, and shall, take my new toy with me for pedicure scheduled next week. I can trade while no longer being tied to the desk-top version.
Haven't done the ironing for years, so never considered it important in a PDA. That's a man's job.

Agree about ironing being a man's job, vasey. I was thinking of Dil .... he likes ironing and I was wondering if your new gizmo might be of use to him.
:-)
On a serious note, my husband has his own iron. He keeps it in a dedicated bag complete with some screwdrivers, blades, files and some wax, all of which he uses to service our skis.

Don't let jeffmack know that Hilary! Goodness knows what damage he could do to the whole house with a bag like that. It wouldn't just be the plumbing at risk. He would probably try to wax your beautiful legs with the wax and iron for a start.

LW
You talking about the fracas on the PDX thread. Bit silly, lots of history, schoolboy stuff, easy to hide behind anonymity. They will soon go away so dont let them spoil your enjoyment

lw: You get a better class of poster in the cafe. Have a glass of champagne, it will soothe your stress levels. If anything exciting happens, one of the regulars will run in and tell us! That's why poochy is a Retriever. He brings all the news to us.

lw: funnily enough, although they do not forward the Report and Accounts etc, you do not lose your right to vote if you hold shares in a nominee, such as Comdirect. You just have to write to them when there is a corporate action, such as an AGM and ask that they complete the Proxy forms back into the name of the beneficial owner and issue a Letter of Authority, entitling you to vote your shares. You can also ask them for the Accounts etc, but easier to get them from the company.
I hold my DYS in nominee and the broker just wrote a letter saying I was beneficial owner of 'xxx' shares and was entitled to vote at the AGM; which I did. One phone call and the paperwork arrived 24 hours later.

They tell you that to cut their administration! A friend of mine has just been through the process with Comdirect and said a phone call sorted out the paperwork and they were brilliant and knew exactly what was required. If it helps, I will put you in touch privately with the shareholder concerned. Funnily enough, Comdirect have been one of the most efficient!
