THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

have you backed that with dosh?
if so, what odds did you get?

Haystack - 30 May 2013 17:41 - 25512 of 81564

cynic

Who is sillier? Fred or goldfinger?

doodlebug4 - 30 May 2013 18:10 - 25513 of 81564

300% increase in people using food banks - so that they have more money to spend on booze. How many of the people you find begging on the streets in London, if you are stupid enough to give them a fiver they spend it the nearest off-licence.

Haystack - 30 May 2013 19:06 - 25514 of 81564

You have to ignore a lot of such stats. They are quoted all over the place by the SWP and other lefty mobs when there is a Conservative government.

It was interesting to see that, the day before yesterday, the OECD said that the UK government were doing all the right things and that we need even more austerity.

If we had a Labour government, we would still have cuts but where would all the rhetoric be about food banks?

It is all lefty drivel.

Fred1new - 30 May 2013 20:47 - 25515 of 81564

Hays,

You are in a period of denial.

The reason for Miliband not writing the labour party's manifesto is that the election is 18mths away and god only knows the mess the shambles of a government is going to leave and if the UK is involved in a ME war.

The Thatcher excuse.

Doodles I didnt take you for being an ignorant type.

Food banks are not for the Homeless...... those are food kitchens.

Food banks are for working people who cannot make ends meet. Their is strict criteria for the giving by the charitys who run them.

Just goes to show doesnt it in this example how middle/to higher class people are taken in by right wing propaganda.

The most famous case of recent being David Camerons Election Broadcast were he tried and did con the majority of middle class and working class people into thinking that they the government were bringing down the debt where in effect it was the deficit (he used the word debt).

He was reported for the matter and had a written bollocking, not that the liar would give a s-it.

Time some on here got their facts right and realised Hays is a very ignorant and at times inebriated plonker who always has to go calling on his side kick cynic.

Smacks of insecurity to me.

3 monkies - 30 May 2013 21:16 - 25518 of 81564

OOOps goldfinger - just read from my eyes which are attached to a peanut brain that you are suggesting perons may be inebriated plonkers on here (this site) who reported the other week that (he was fishing with loads of lagers dangling in his keep net to keep cool - in the morning). If my peanut brain serves me correctly they were stellas - trip to the moon and back, would not have been you by any chance would it? I suppose that when one is of such a young age as yourself, weighs copious amounts and stands nearly 7 foot your body and mind can take it. Shares in Opay not so good at the moment. Good nite.

doodlebug4 - 30 May 2013 22:14 - 25519 of 81564

gf, "Food banks are for working people who cannot make ends meet" - according to what research? Did this country have "food banks" during the second World War? My mother found 10 ways of making a small bag of potatoes last a whole week in those days, possibly because this country didn't have "food banks" at that time. Just because I don't agree with your views hardly classifies me as an "ignorant type" - thank you. And while I'm on a roll here, I think you are an absolute pain in the backside on this thread with your constant silly barbs at Chris Carson - however that's your choice to make yourself look like an absolute muppet.

GF is young, tall and over weight - drinks Stella and has no idea how our parents fed us as we are ancient according to some of his remarks.

Haystack - 30 May 2013 22:26 - 25521 of 81564

gf
You are talking your usual nonsense full of distortions. Cameron had his error pointed out by the OBR and nothing more.

gf, "Food banks are for working people who cannot make ends meet" - according to what research?..........................

WHO DO FOODBANKS HELP?

Many foodbank clients are low income families hit by a crisis that is not their fault such as redundancy,
reduced working hours or something as seemingly small as an unexpected bill. Others are victims of
domestic violence, people experiencing benefit delay or facing debt problems or those hit by illness.
Often foodbank clients face decisions between eating and paying the rent. Some are
so desperate that they consider stealing to feed their children. A recent report by
Netmums found that 1 in every 5 mums regularly skip meals to feed their children.
Foodbanks meet mothers in this situation every day.
Less than five per cent of foodbank clients are homeless, many are working families.
Typically, one third of foodbank recipients are children..............ends

Like I said your initial response/post was ignorant of the facts.

Many others like you aswel. Theirs food banks and...... soup kitchens/hostels used by NFA (no fixed abode)

As for 3 monkies frustrated desperate has been flower power chick from the 70s, a source tells me.

Haystack - 30 May 2013 22:45 - 25523 of 81564

gf
You just as accept all the propaganda.

goldfinger - 30 May 2013 22:46 - 25524 of 81564

Hays are you saying he didnt receive an official written letter bollocking him from the OBR ???????????????????????????????????????????????????.

Are you saying this warning letter doesnt exist????????????????????????.

goldfinger - 30 May 2013 22:46 - 25525 of 81564

Hays your slurring your words again.

doodlebug4 - 30 May 2013 22:48 - 25526 of 81564

Who on earth are "Netmums"? They are perhaps the mums who have 6 to 10 children by different blokes, live off the benefit system and don't know how to boil an egg. What a load of utter bo--ocks.

goldfinger - 30 May 2013 22:53 - 25527 of 81564

Ohhhhhhhh looks whos losing their cool.

Youve made a foolish ignorant statement.

Research it and stop being a fool.

Chris Carson - 30 May 2013 22:53 - 25528 of 81564

Congratulations Fred your work is done! You have created the perfect clone. Goldmember Twat of the year arise! :O)

Haystack - 30 May 2013 22:54 - 25529 of 81564

The poorest, stupidest and working class are the fatest, the most drunk and smoking themselves to death. They probably need the foodbanks so that they can drink and smoke more. Don't forget the betting shop and bingo.

Haystack - 30 May 2013 22:55 - 25530 of 81564

The letter was just pointing out an error by the OBR.
