Welcome to MoneyAM.
Today sees the launch of MoneyAM, a bright new financial website for the smart investor. Our aim is quite simple: we aim to become the UK's leading web-based supplier of shares related content and data.
Streaming real time share prices, up to the minute portfolios, live city news, email alerts, bulletin boards, company fundamentals plus expert analysis supplied by the same award-winning team of journalists, analysts and researchers that produce Shares Magazine every week. These are just some of the great features that MoneyAM provides free to anyone who registers on the site.
Our premium paid for services are compelling and competitively priced and a must for the serious investor/trader. Unlimited level 1, FTSE indices, alerts, Premium market scan tools and the Traders Room (Bulletin Board) are just some of the extras on offer. Level 2 services will be coming to MoneyAM very soon!!!
We hope you enjoy using the site.
Regards
Mike Boydell

Might have a look at that live charts website, Mo06. Probably won't be heading to ADVFN.

As MoneyAm is closing, I think it is worth remembering the late Derek Lambert who died in 2013 (Mighty Micro). His company IST built this platform and its tools from scratch in a very short time. The problems that we are all having in finding an equivalent system is a testament to his work.

Couldn't agree more, Haystack. I was privileged to have met the man. As with many on here who helped the less experienced, he was the epitome of a gent.
After over 16 years, it's a real shame to see this site go, but I guess things moves on. I've still not seen some turn up for a final farewell.
Thanks MAM - one of a kind.
Cheers
Al

Haystack. Completely agree, MM was an amazing guy and had a wicked sense of humour.
Been a fun 16 years with MAM and co-founding ADVFN before that.
Im now enjoying my semi retirement, but can't sit still, so have just started a new venture with an ex-AJ Bell colleague. www.holiston.com
I do keep in regular contact with a lot of BB'ers by mail, but will miss the friendly BBs.
best wishes
Mike

Sad news.
Clearly some good people on here.
Always thought MAM put customer service as a high priority and communicated well with its customers.
Good luck in the future and probably see a few of you on the darkside ;-\

It's an indication of Derek's humour that the music at his funeral was the Archers theme tune and the music for the Shipping forecast: Sailing by

Yes, one final goodbye. I will miss the stockwatch very much. I have not taken up the Shares offer as have Sharepad but if they were to recreate the Stockwatch capabilities and ease of manipulation, I would sign up.
It’s been good to sail in all of Bullshare and crews’ creations since 1999!

Stan - fortunately I haven't been castaway to an island yet! Scotland is still hanging on to the Union and long may it last. All good here, hope with you too.
Big Al - you did well to stay where you are. North Berwick is expanding too fast.
Big thank you to everyone at MAM. Lots of technical advice at the beginning when struggling to set up multiple trading screens, trading ideas when required and even more important, plenty of good humour and laughs, not to mention some memorable get togethers!
Enjoy your semi-retirement, Mike and good luck in your new venture. We have had a good run. Many thanks.
