Ladies team thread (GIRL)

stockbunny - 10 Aug 2004 13:01

Any thoughts, can be posted here if you wish but remember recommendations could be read by other teams or send your thoughts via email as usual - thanks!

stockbunny - 27 Aug 2004 11:54 - 257 of 540

Hmmmm....

Big Al - 27 Aug 2004 11:55 - 258 of 540

Just causing a bit of friendly havoc.

;-))

stockbunny - 27 Aug 2004 11:57 - 259 of 540

As always big Al, as always, but we don't really mind ;>)
Was expecting some interesting comment on the bank hol thread from you...

stockbunny - 27 Aug 2004 12:13 - 260 of 540

Listen up ladies!
RPT now has 4 votes to dump - any comments??
As there is no firm conviction for any of the potential new choices
I will either bank the funds from the sale or place them into an
existing stock - any ideas???

Alleycat - 27 Aug 2004 22:26 - 261 of 540

More good news from Ark (AKT) today but the price didn't move (69-70). However, the overhang from the float appears to have cleared and at some stage investors will lose their current aversion to biotech. Interims Tues.
On that note, Oxford Biomedica (OXB) could please with interims Wed.
Note the 71% jump in games developer Bits Corp on the deal with SCi today. A similar deal for WHOG could do the same for them and catapult you into the lead!

brockman - 27 Aug 2004 22:29 - 262 of 540

Alley, would you like to join the ladies team, you would be most welcome?

brockman - 27 Aug 2004 22:32 - 263 of 540

I'm kinda of assuming you have the right attributes to join the ladies team that is :o)
Big Al wants to join but he's not fooling anyone with that double chinny chin thingy he got going :o) Hi Big Al!!! ;-))))))

stockbunny - 31 Aug 2004 10:46 - 264 of 540

Err..ever get the feeling we should have gone for Brambles girls????
It's going extremely well this morning - well spotted Brocks, we should
have listened to you!

brockman - 31 Aug 2004 16:27 - 265 of 540

:o) See I'm not just a pretty face!

stockbunny - 31 Aug 2004 16:34 - 266 of 540

Whoever said that?? He needs shooting!! (lol)
;>)

brockman - 31 Aug 2004 16:46 - 267 of 540

It's usually the person who is looking at my arse Bun ;o)

stockbunny - 31 Aug 2004 16:55 - 268 of 540

LOL - that figures...they can be predictable.

Alleycat - 31 Aug 2004 23:04 - 269 of 540

Thanks for the invite, brockman, but I guess joining half way through isn't allowed!
I'll try and help with suggestions if I can, so we can put those guys where they belong and render them a little less insufferable.
Ark's results were all I expected today and I put a 150p target on them when (if!) biotech sentiment turns.
P.S. Is big Al any good at putting up sheds?

stockbunny - 01 Sep 2004 11:04 - 270 of 540

I assume you have been around the site for a while then Alleycat
judging by your comments - do we know you under a different disguise?
You can always mail Brocks or me via the BB if you want to tell us more
on that or on any tips you may have, as your profile doesn't have email
enabled on it, we can't contact you. Obviously any tips you put on here
will be read by one and all so wont be terribly useful for us.

Big Al and sheds....??? Good question but no idea of the answer!! lol

Alleycat - 01 Sep 2004 11:36 - 271 of 540

stockbunny, I'm very much a beginner on BB's and BB lingo - will get back to you when more time.
Just out of OXB's analyst webcast and it was as impressive as I expected.
All the time it was being sold down until just before the end buyers (who'd presumably actually been listening - and even possibly understanding!) - appeared. Even so, -0.75 at 16-17.5 a few minutes ago. Horrible touch!
Must rush - late for lunch date.

Big Al - 02 Sep 2004 04:04 - 272 of 540

Even in the middleof the North Sea, I can still keep an eye on my shorts! ;-))

What's a ruddy shed? ;-0

stockbunny - 02 Sep 2004 11:26 - 273 of 540

I wont even ask what you are doing in the middle of the North Sea Al!! LOL
Ladies you have mail.....

jj50 - 02 Sep 2004 11:43 - 274 of 540

Stockbunny, mail received .......... contemplating!!

Just noticed your tip (the animal name related one (giggle) - not giving tactics away of course :-)) would have done almost as well as Brambles, so we are getting on the right track at last. Those Bucket Shop boys don't have a chance :-)

Big Al, just hang on to your shorts if you are in the middle of the North Sea at 4 am or you might get a nasty case of frost bite! Sheds are where men go to contemplate the finer points of life BTW....

stockbunny - 02 Sep 2004 11:48 - 275 of 540

JJ - you are quite right lol and Al certainly will need more then a pair
of shorts on out there or he could be 'shorting' a lot more then he bargained
for! ;>)

Let me know what your feelings are this week on the portfolio and nice to
see you back - how was Loch Lomond? (and the dear midges)

stockbunny - 02 Sep 2004 13:18 - 276 of 540
