Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

NHS knew 111 was all going wrong, leaked report reveals: How untrained staff answered calls, patients were put on hold and doctors' warnings ignored
Some 70% of patients in one region hung up because no-one answered
Managers so short-staffed that people answered phone without training
Concerns patients get given bad advice or sent to clinics 30 mil

Ian - i have kept quiet for far too long ..... why should i and the rest of the board be obliged to tolerate the stream of sulphurous abuse and hate that perpetually spews from Tanker? ..... perhaps excising the cause would bring this thread (and board) back to its customary civilised state

sticky - you and i have had our spats, but they pass quickly enough and then we kiss (yuk!) .....
generally, i ignore Tanker's posts, and his personal insults rarely worry me much ..... however, his continuous sulphurous stream of hatred against blacks, asians, eastern european workers et al should not be tolerated and (imo) for that reason, it is time he was excised from this board ..... i believe he has had at least several warnings

Manuel,
I don't like the majority of Tanker's post, but as he writes he is not usually personally abusive.
However, your postings and your fellow traveller's frequently contain personal abuse.
I do think his postings are inflammatory, but would prefer him to have the same rights to spout them, as you wish for yourself.
(But I do wish you would shorten your posts or increase their content.)
Also, that you could check your facts a little more carefully and attempt to be a less proscriptive on the actions and opinions of others.

Tanker is easily the most abusive poster on here. Not just personally, but whole swathes of society such as Muslims, eastern Europeans.

The debt is better than it would be under Labour as they want to borrow more. The coalition has not only maintained spending on the NHS, but increased spending. And most importantly, most of our problems ARE Labour's fault.

I've just heard that Tom Sharpe has died -
Tom Sharpe, Porterhouse Blue novelist, dies aged 85
His books - particularly the South Africa based ones, used to have me in stitches.
Back in pre-mobile days, I used to often burst out laughing on the train, attracting looks of derision - something that nowadays wouldn't earn a second look!

This is UKIP. Not just a UKIP councilor, but a member of its National Executive Committee.
A Ukip councillor has been barred from standing in the European elections while police investigate racism allegations against him, it has emerged.
Chris Pain, a councillor in Skegness for Burgh and Wainfleet, has been designated "not a member of good standing" for at least three months while police investigate, according to the Skegness Standard.
Pain is being investigate for alleged racist slurs, calling immigrants "bomb-making, camel-riding, goat-******* ragheads". The councillor denies writing the posts and says his account was hacked.
Another posting appears to show him suggesting that asylum seekers are benefit-scrounging terrorists.
The post, made last August, is made in the style of game show, mocking the government for being lax in their assignment of welfare.
"Good Day and welcome to a brand new edition of 'ASYLUM''. It reads: "Today's program features another chance to take part in our exciting competition: HIJACK AN AIRLINER and win A COUNCIL HOUSE!"
He continues: "Anyone can play, provided they don't already hold a valid British Passport, and you only need one word of English: 'ASYLUM'"
A Lincolnshire Police spokeswoman said officers were looking into the allegations.

I remember watching 'Porterhouse Blue' on TV many years ago. Very strange and funny in equal part. Never read the book, so I might just have to extend my education.

That's a funny book, but try and read Riotous Assembly & Indecent Exposure.
They are only short books so were ideal reading for the commute.

RONALDO spotted outside Old Trafford.
Coincidence his villa is up for sale????
Cant stand Mourhinio.
New CEO at UTD,wants to make a big first impression.
Could all be speculation but I know for a fact UTD placed a clause in his contract on sale to R Madrid which said they had first refusal.
