political situation in nigeria not looking good with muslim terrorists in the north and separists in the south disrupting oil flows.... shades of Biafra all over again.

this nigeria stuff has been rumbling on for years, so nothing new ...... but i recollect you have a pretty low opinion of TLW's find in uganda as well

uganda is a totally different scenario to nigeria, as you know the problem in uganda is the cost of getting the oil to the coast. oil in the ground has no value.

ah indeed ... but both AFR and TLW (and HOIL) have definitely found the stuff, which may be in the ground but is not up in the blue sky ..... btw, have checked back and note that you made a similar derogatory comment about TLW's find in Uganda on 16th June when sp was about 890 against 990 now ..... perhaps hyleo is your alter ego
on 17th June, you also reckoned that TLW was badly overpriced compared to DGO (which I also hold) ...... DGO was then about 355 and is now 330

or yours, TLW's best bet in Uganda is to get the government to finance the cost of building the pipeline to Mombasa which would probably require a loan from the World Bank or similar agency, pretty unlikely unless the price of oil goes up significantly and stays up.

told you before ...... TLW have already put in an order for a fleet of spaceships ..... frankly, i don't much care how they get the oil from A to B, though assuredly it will be arranged, just as long as sp keeps ticking up
now tell us all at what price you shorted TLW (and AFR) and on what date ..... or did money and mouth somehow miss each other?

cynic you appear to have a problem, if you try being polite and nice to your fellow human beings for a change you just might get something out of your life.

i get more pleasure being as i am ..... it's one of the reasons i don't take sugar in my coffee or tea ..... and on the positive side, when i make a mistake, which i frequently do, i own up to it ..... and you???? ...... and of course, you have still not answered the question (surprise, surprise!)

cynic we are all entitled to our preferences and opinions believe it or not, you may think life is about constantly scoring points off other people.... we wonder if you have many friends.

well the royal "we" can wonder as long as "we" like ...... my gripe with you is nothing to do with preferences - e.g. i openly admit to a "problem" with chinese owned/run companies and blue-sky falklands E&P oilies ..... my objection is that (a) you don't hold your hand up to a wrong call and (b) having said (again) how overpriced TLW is, you do not short it ..... as i said, money and mouth fail to connect

cynic tell us something new, we all know you always need to have the last word and are always right, but never mind if that's how you wish to spend your time you are more than welcome, others like to give their honest opinions without favour.

if you read, you will see that i openly admit that i am often wrong and then hold my hand up to it ..... it may well be that i shall prove to have made an expensive mistake with AFR should the t/o never be realised, though that has nothing at all to do with the historic and continuing unrest in nigeria.
for your part, you (or the royal "we") seem incapable of this, let alone answering simple questions.
that is my honest opinion, though seemingly supported by actuality!

cynic you always prove our point, in your mind you are always right and need to have the last word, learn to fight another day, otherwise you will never grow up.

i have managed to survive well enough for the last 63 years, and genetically i would say i have a good chance of (at least) another 30
now try answering the questions or you will fail the exam, as i am sure you discovered as a child

cynic once again you prove our point you think you are the teacher, whereas you don't realise you are surrounded by teachers, but unfortunately you can't listen or see, which means you must be deaf and blind, malheureusement.
