Kim
Nice one.

These two have got the T shirt.

greekman - 03 Mar 2008 13:11 - 25812 of 27111

Obviously looking good but I have a niggling doubt that punters are being suckered in.
Probably wrong but once (or several times) bitten, twice shy.

I wish I understood, and had faith in, charting!!!
We are now equal to the highest SP since May last year when it plummeted instantly from over 1p to its fractional prices. I feel certain this is a significant level, but have no idea why, or what the significance is!!!
Anyone who understands this help????

Mad Pad - 03 Mar 2008 13:38 - 25815 of 27111

Let's all be positive and see if we can keep this flowing.My contribution,apart from buying 1.5m this am,directors not buying recently because they are party to price sensitive information.NEXT

PATISEAR - 03 Mar 2008 13:49 - 25816 of 27111

Mad Pad

Please excuse the cut and paste. {From iii site}

SEO have released an RNS like a fanfare. Look at us, look at our partners, look at what we can do for you. So they have let people know who they are.
This would not have been possible if the main products i.e.; Biotec, were under threat of loosing their patents,{as in patent challenge}.
This leads me to believe, because of the euphoric manner in which the RNS was released, that the patent challenge is no longer a problem. Mr Mines has been brutal in telling us about the state of this company in the past, and I see no reason for him to diverse.
I am expecting an RNS to clarify this prior to the Results on the 14th March.
With cash balance at end 2007 at 8mil.{As in pre results}
Cash position ahead of expectations.{As in pre results}
Growth in Biotec..{As in pre results}
I expect revenues to be up. [Some on this and other BBs expect about8mil.]
In the week prior to patent challenge news SEO were trading at 1.2p to 1.5p.
Good luck all.

EWRobson - 03 Mar 2008 14:44 - 25817 of 27111

Hello folk. Another of those attracted back to see what it was all about. First reaction was to think there was nothing of substance in the RNS - were we back to all those false promises, sound bites, of the past? However, I think Patisear has a point about ther Biotec/Sphere legal situation which did as much as Greenseal to undermine the company a year+ ago. The clarification should be in the results (14th march) if not before.

Going back to the pre-close update, the statement was that "satisfactory progress is being made towards assuaging the previously reported patent challenges"; put in an understated way unlike previous super-optimism. No obvious reason why new regime should not be trusted. So considering my position!

Run for your life eric's here welcome back.

greekman - 03 Mar 2008 15:30 - 25819 of 27111

Just a thought. Could this have anything to do with the renewed interest of any alternative to petroleum based plastics.

Consultation update on material regulations begins (Meatprocess.com)
By staff reporter.

Consultation on an addition to a draft EU-wide regulation relating to the use of plastic and other food contact materials has started in Northern Ireland.

The amendments include new substances. They also amend the entries for existing ones following risk assessments on the materials by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).

In particular, Directive 2007/19/EC puts new limits on the use of specific plasticisers, including epoxydised soybean oil (ESBO) and some phthalates. The directive also sets new migration limits.

Now if the conclusion is that the added risk to certain food from petroleum based plastics is detrimental to human health to a none acceptable standard that will really release interest in alternatives.

One point that strikes me is that, if SEO management can't deliver, they would be a likely takeover candidate for someone who wants to buy into an already very significantly market-place and becoming more so by the day.

Good to be back, driver. Strikes me that no-one else could have written your one liner!

Eric

Tonyrelaxes - 03 Mar 2008 18:00 - 25821 of 27111

Mad Pad
Directors not buying becausae we are in the Closed Period between Year End and announcing Results.
That is if they wanted, and were able, to buy.

kimoldfield - 03 Mar 2008 18:02 - 25822 of 27111

Hmmm, maybe Schroders were behind SEO's Friday RNS, or am I being cynical?!

They got this bit wrong:-
"6. Date on which issuer notified: 03/02/08", so maybe we'll have another RNS now!

EWRobson - 03 Mar 2008 20:28 - 25823 of 27111

Kim Actually a reduction in holding which raises questions. Eric

jaguar121 - 03 Mar 2008 21:01 - 25824 of 27111

I don't suppose we could have an rns saying that someone has bought the ciggerate starch technology ??? We live in hope , several pence to the share price perhaps !!!

tweenie - 03 Mar 2008 22:16 - 25825 of 27111

If Schroeders dump more (several RNS) leading upto and past the results , I think we all know what that'll mean..........I guess at the moment it's all eyes on the sales as oppossed to the buys.....
a little bit more worried.
another sleepless night.
Bad week to give up the crack pipe.
;-)

kimoldfield - 03 Mar 2008 23:01 - 25826 of 27111

Eric, that was my point. Was it a nudge from Schroder to persuade SEO to release the RNS in an attempt to nudge the SP up? Mmm, 2 nudges there, all we need now are 2 winks and we'll say no more; cue 'Dead parrot sketch" jokes!

I hope that it is just me being cynical, SEO have released shareholder friendly RNSs in the past, then followed them up with sh*t news when giving interims/results. Well, let's face it, if they aren't going to get their act into gear now, it will never happen.

For what it's worth I am still optimistic, though I did take some profits today.

Steve

hewittalan6 - 04 Mar 2008 07:55 - 25827 of 27111

I keep saying I'm no chartist (cos I'm not) but I feel today it is significant to see if the SP can hold above 0.56. If it can hold this for a while, or even rise above it, this may become a support.

Tonyrelaxes - 04 Mar 2008 08:26 - 25828 of 27111

Yawn. Another 35%. Yawn.
This is getting boringly repetitive.

greekman - 04 Mar 2008 08:37 - 25829 of 27111

I understand the shares have gone to auction a couple of times already. This is VERY strange pre close. It usually means we will get some VERY large deals that come into the equation as Late Deals.
