"6. Date on which issuer notified: 03/02/08", so maybe we'll have another RNS now!

I don't suppose we could have an rns saying that someone has bought the ciggerate starch technology ??? We live in hope , several pence to the share price perhaps !!!

If Schroeders dump more (several RNS) leading upto and past the results , I think we all know what that'll mean..........I guess at the moment it's all eyes on the sales as oppossed to the buys.....
a little bit more worried.
another sleepless night.
Bad week to give up the crack pipe.

Eric, that was my point. Was it a nudge from Schroder to persuade SEO to release the RNS in an attempt to nudge the SP up? Mmm, 2 nudges there, all we need now are 2 winks and we'll say no more; cue 'Dead parrot sketch" jokes!
I hope that it is just me being cynical, SEO have released shareholder friendly RNSs in the past, then followed them up with sh*t news when giving interims/results. Well, let's face it, if they aren't going to get their act into gear now, it will never happen.
For what it's worth I am still optimistic, though I did take some profits today.

I keep saying I'm no chartist (cos I'm not) but I feel today it is significant to see if the SP can hold above 0.56. If it can hold this for a while, or even rise above it, this may become a support.

Yawn. Another 35%. Yawn.
This is getting boringly repetitive.

I understand the shares have gone to auction a couple of times already. This is VERY strange pre close. It usually means we will get some VERY large deals that come into the equation as Late Deals.

Tony, it's becoming painful.................to see my SEO holding closing rapidly from debit to credit. Painful because after all these years of seeing red I fear my cash is coming back and I really dont want to loose it again!! I think it will be harder to keep my finger off the sell button IF i do go blue than waiting all this time with morbid fascination !!! Good luck to all holders. Cheers.

Anyone know at what point sp increases/decreases / spreads start to step up to 0.1p jumps as opposed to 0.01p jumps? 1p plus or is it whem market ,akers feel like it or when volumes pick up to even more significant levels?

Sure, as (if really!) we approach breakeven (helped no end by my doubling my holding last week at a fraction of the first half) will come the temptation to sell to get out and breath a HUGE sigh of relief.
But the sad thing would be I would miss the collective misery among the long term regulars here. LOL.

Hi dawall,
It's all up to the MM's. But they do tend to take note of increase in demand (as you rightly state increase in volume), hence the big change over the last few days of the usual spreads of up to 10% on occasion down to 1% or less over last couple of days. Liquidity is increasing with the renewed interest.

Unfortunately SEO is reported on LSE and Plusmarkets. This practice distorts the SP.
In the last week there were nearly 500 million SEO shares traded. Most of them, about 75%-80% were traded on Plusmarkets, and most of them were BUYS.
Yet it is the trades reported on LSE which influence the SP up/down.
Today, there are over 60million shares traded on Plusmarkets, and 22million on LSE,
but it is the LSE trades that influence the SP, imo.

You've only got to look at the 4-yr sp graph to see what you are buying into. Good Luck - but I haven't read anything that makes me believe this outfit is fitter for purpose than, say, a week ago before their hopelessly - worded RNS.
As I see it, without any "business-related News" these recent increases are folk getting into something that will fall-back. If there had been some sea-change, fresh Orders (Profits, even?), the RNS would have said so. In the absence of that: - Beware!

The management know how eager shareholders all are waiting for news so if there were any I can't imagine they'd hang around before announcing.... My guess is that the rises are maybe a competitor buying up stock, if I'm correct and RNS to follow... Ultimatly though who knows..
