I too (and I suspect everyone here) am completely flummoxed. I can find no good reason, but reason there must be.
The more I think about it, the more I think Greek may have been closest with his esplanation of a pointless RNS. Cannot deny the rumours, but cannot confirm due to confidentiality agreements.
I can't think of anything better.

do you think Paul Mines would have issued the RNS he did if the issues with patents were still unresolved or do you think this is cleared up now?

Part of me says that the patents issue being cleared up would require an RNS of its own, so it must still be in the air. The other part says it must be cleared up otherwise the RNS must surely say that SEO are the only UK company (provided we hold on to the patent).............
This is a real brain teaser (for me anyway).
The RNS just muddies the water. It was the most pointless thing I ever read, though for those in ULT, we have seen a few saying "we welcome the debate" closely followed by a few saying "we got the contract".
Time will tell.

Another one that gets me is that when a share rises or falls dramatically (and it has), the financial press carries a short piece saying "xxx rose x% on rumours of...." but this has been noticably absent.

After the RNS last friday 'Speculation re plastics', I don't think they can say don't know of any reason.
It is what punters are reading into it.

I flicked through a couple of the other sites and theres a RUMOUR/RAMP that British Polythene have been in discussion with SEO.

i'm happy to sit on my investment and let others buy up the shares and await breakeven.

I wish there was some proper news so at least I would stop worrying so much.

I expect that there is a large order that is being filled and also the MM's are buying up stock they don't have (re shorts etc).

The wifes banned me from topping up. As tempting as it is, I think a knife through the back of my skull might just take the shine off any future rise.
