Just got back home. Have I missed some news as THUS seems to have had a sad day?
This sort of performance will place THUS in the LTBH dept.

Optomistic, suspect it's just market malaise today and these are one of the stocks likely to drop significantly on any market drop. CTM also had a poor day.
Still holding....
(Told you I'd give it the kiss of death).

Thanks SC, I'm sure non of us hold you responsible, perhaps todays perfomanance is down to nervous selling before the results. Hope they are wrong, after all there has been no bad news from THUS for a long time.
With pre close statement quite upbeat.

I bought more of Thus today as it is on offer. If it gets cheaper tomorrow, take advantage of its temporary weakness due to general widespread market drop.

A late buy was reported for 3m shares @ 29.52 on Friday at 16.48 Bargain conditions were attached (I am not sure what that means and would appreciate any info here) but it still is a large buy!! lets hope that someone is 'in the know'. Within the trading rules of course.

hlyeo98, there is more to it then general market weakness. Markets are generally stable trading within a narrow band where as THUS has fallen from a year high of 38-39 to it's present low of 25. Personally feel that if it can hold 25 as support then it will be a good opportunity to get back in and try and recoup my loss. THUS is a well run company with an excellent management and deserves to do well which even taken in recent fall it has from historic low of 4-5. I often feel that the boys in the city are apt to bo@@ocks certain companies and of late THUS is one.

Agreed Thus is a well run Co. with a level headed man at the helm
I cannot understand the recent fall in the shareprice but this often the case with the stockmarket
What I would expect to see soon is the old expression of "oversold" somewhere in print and somewhat of a recovery in the shareprice
To anyone who like myself regards Thus as a long term investment to tuck away in an ISA there is still plenty to come yet
On the plus side this is an excellent buying opportunity to invest in a sound Company

UK's Thus sees year revenues rising over 15 pct
LONDON, May 4 (Reuters) - British telecoms firm Thus Group (LSE: THUS.L - news) Plc expects revenue growth during the current financial year to end-March 2005 to come in above 15 percent, its chief executive said on Tuesday.
William Allan told Reuters in an interview that revenue growth accelerated during the second half of last year to 18 percent, rising from 10 percent seen in the first half.
"You could expect to see faster revenue growth this financial year and that will flow through to cash flow and earnings," he said.
Allan said Thus' capital expenditure, which fell slightly to 41.1 million pounds ($73 million) last year, would remain firmly pegged to turnover during the current year at around 12 percent of revenues.

Thus is tipped as a good value buy in Investor's Chronicle this week as it will be profitable in the next interim. Buy!

Times & Telegraph have been positive on THUS today. Times, which has been quietly positive on THUS in recent times, stuck a bit of the knife in last wednesday morning though.
