When is BED going to wake up? (BED)

blackbelt - 26 Apr 2005 09:06

Whats peoples thoughts on this one?

I brought in Jan made 30% then sold near the top, but its since dropped from 64p to 42p.....im thinking of getting in again, anybody holding?

Nasty drop today - looks like a big holder is bunking off.
Never liked this stock with punters piling-in believing this was the answer to microelectronics, etc.
No company news, but my guess is they aer running out of cash and maybe customers as Recession pushes orders back. . . . and test equipment goes back even further.
This is often the snag with a small-co with little bredth and no "bread-n-butter" product, to pay for overheads, directors and office staff.

Tuesday +40% rise today ( still very low sp) - but on Zero Volume!
(as at 10.30 am). Perhaps yesterday's fall was an error?
Really odd - Alternatively, is there a large Buyer "in the wings" -i.e. taking advantage of the fall...?
I never liked this stock. . . . . and still don't .

- It would be nice to read alternative views -

(EDIT after close of trading)
100,000 sold and 4,000 bought it seems - that's under 2k-worth (for the 100,000) - yet the MM's shift the price 40% - whoever wanted to sell has a kind Broker. OR - was the Sell really a buy?
- All very confusing - these were over 2 when floated in 2001 -
An investment of 100,000 then could have bought you a decent house, which now would be showing a 30% rise, BED is showing a 99% fall - Ooer!
Bargepoles!!!
