The MM's can't have many MILLIONS of shares left to flog on , given the volumes traded the last few days. It would'nt surprise me to see the sp fluctuate heavily as the sp is pushed to trigger stop losses etc. or am I being cynical/too simple.
I won't be selling at a loss and the vast majority of long term holders I believe (IMHO) have the same ethos re this share.....i.e. HOLYSHIT OR BUST.

The trades of 500k shares are about 4k -worth - hardly a big purchase, although "unfortunate" if you call it wrong.
Stock down abt 10% today......The spike is blunted!

Bos,
I am a silly and sad man, but I think there must be something, somewhere making all this happen and after writing off this investment in its entirity, I am loathe to sell up, even at a profit, until I have milked whatever has caused the SP hike.
I must be certifiably insane.

alan .... i'll second that - lol! ....
with no RNS at all, it is smelling more and more like pure freak, where the sp has kept rising (until today!) as more and more sheep (not lemmings apparently!) jumped in (to take a bath?) purely because, "Surely there must be good reason" ..... history often shows that not to be so

being a bit more serious, cynic, once the investment is written down on my portfoilio, I believe I am doing the right thing.
To sell now, and realise a loss de facto, rather than on paper, just one week before results, at the end(?) of incredible activity and massive price rises would seem to be the counsel of a fool.
To hold on, means that at worst I realise losses I have already accounted for, from both a monetary and psychological point of view or at best, that I am in before news breaks officially, or results show SEO to be a good investment. I see no downside here.
To sell up means at best to break even and at worse to beat myself up over missing out on something I was expecting. I see no upside to that.
It may seem twisted logic, but thats how it is.
What may smell a little is a lack of RNS tomorrow or Monday on company holdings. I still maintain that with the volumes thus far, we must have some declarations to come, and if they do not, then someone is hiding something. If they do come, we may be a little clearer on what is afoot.

hi alan .... thought you were actually running a profit, albeit a modest one ..... if there is an RNS, then i would not expect any more than the usual "reason unknown", which in all honesty may well be exactly that ...... could the initial surge and volume not be just a case of someone unwinding his long-held short? .... thereafter, perhaps as i mooted?

Back in the red at the mo.
The RNS to which I refer would be a notification of holdings, not a business one.
I can't see the short unwinding thing accounting for what amounts to (conservatively) a third of the issued stock changing hands in the last week or so. No doubt there are a few shorts closing, and these have artificially inflated the rise, just as they artificially inflate a fall, but it would have taken a massive short to spark it all. Not only a huge one, but a long term one otherwise the shorter would be hugely out of pocket. The SP has been fairly static for about 12 months, and if they were clever enough to have massively shorted over 1 year ago, perhaps we should listen to them when they close their position just prior to a set of results that everyone thinks will very poor.
Whichever way I dice or slice it, Either much buying has been going on, or much shorting has been closed. Take your pick, cos neither is exactly a sign of doom and gloom.

The straw I see is the technology is useful and almost marketable sometime back. The problem was getting it reproducible efficiently and with reliability. I "hope" that is what has occurred and will be announced.
I hold, but I am a sucker for this company.

I bet you that there is a share consolidation coming, and in my humble opinion and experience shares never do well at the start, it takes a while before things get back to normal !
