HUSTLER - 17 Nov 2004 20:02

NETeller - NLR - 3.15
Thought i would start a new thread following on from
hawick - new issue looks very special - not to steal the thunder from
hawick but just to highlight the company name to those not already in to this
potential blockbuster.
Those of us who are following NETeller know the background and have been
active with postings, for newcomers i strongly sugest viewing the
( new issue looks very special posting )the content will speak for itself.

Brief overview of NETeller
The company handles online cash transactions across the globe
on 21st oct gained fsa approval to operate as a regulated e-money issuer
and will passport the regulated status to all 25 EU member states
it has over 1 million clients rising by 2000 number each day
1500 online merchants and processed over $1.5 billion in 2003
pre tax profit is estimated to be 29 million to dec 04 rising to
40 million next year
per currently 20 to dec 04 falling to 11.5 which is low for sector
brokers have been raising forcasts on a regular basis
share price has risen over 50% since launch earlier this year
new markets emerging constantly, asia has the potential for supergrowth
online casinos are creating enormous profits
given all this - cash generative - huge market - fsa approval
infastructure in place to handle growth, profits accrue to bottom line
the market force is behind it with good relative strength
all put together it is hard to argue against this has the potential
to be a blockbuster over the year ahead

News just in from CityWire..........................

Tip Update: Neteller doubles up

Published: 10:23 Friday 04 February 2005 By: Graeme Davies, Investment Correspondent

Citywire tip Neteller continues to grow rapidly according to a fourth quarter trading update although some investors have taken the chance to book some profits on its recent phenomenal run.

Neteller (NLR) has continued its rapid growth with average daily sign ups of new customers in the fourth quarter of last year at 2,072 compared with 1,068 the previous year. In the year as a whole average daily sign ups have doubled to 1,821.

At the end of the year Neteller had 1.25 million members against 663,000 at the end of 2003.

Shares in the 650 million online money transfer specialist have shed 2% or 13p to 537.5p, which should come as little surprise considering its rise from 157p to 550.5p since the middle of last year.

Neteller specialises in secure instant online money transfers and has targeted the booming online gaming market where its rivals have traditionally been reluctant to provide instant cash transfers. It has a strong base in the US and Europe and is targeting a move into the lucrative Asian markets.

The surge in online gaming is reflected in Neteller's average daily receipts, which rose to $2.3 million (1.22 million) from $1.1 million the previous year. Quarter on quarter receipts rose by 19% from the third quarter.

Neteller has come to prominence at just the right time to plug into the online gaming boom where its instant indemnified transfers have proved popular with gamers and gaming sites. It also offers the same service for online purchases and allows members to transfer money between themselves instantly.

House broker Canaccord has declared the trading statement 'very favourable' and in line with its own recently increased estimates. It reckons Neteller is picking up even more market share in the online gaming industry.

Citywire tipped Neteller as a buy earlier this week at 526.5p and reiterate that recommendation today.

cheers GF.

Dil, decided to sell NLR which I bought at 406 and 428 two weeks ago. I am happy to take 30% - 35% (yesterday sold half at 548p the rest today 534p) in such a short space of time. I will wait for some consolidation in the share price before getting back in. If it carries on zooming non-stop, good luck!

It didn't encourage me to see a couple of hundred posts over the road this morning either! That's one of your indicators I believe :)

goldfinger - 04 Feb 2005 15:28 - 266 of 1341

Sell at your peril I say.

cheers GF.

Goldfinger do you see this going north again soon or stopping now for a breather, and do you have a target, i topped up again this morning. Thanks Jb

goldfinger - 04 Feb 2005 15:43 - 268 of 1341

Hi Jimmy,

it as massive potential. The MMs were after stock this morning and nothing else.

I dont like giving figures and normally leave that to the market but I certainly beleive Dil with his 10 quid figure will be reachable, he may have even upped that if I remember rightly or was it Durlacher.

Nothing goes up in a straight line, the thing is not to panic. A lot did when Evil K went short at 310 only a few weeks back, I think it went down to 268p with people panicking but I stood firm as did others on here and evil was proved to have made one hell of a misjudgement, I told him so in an e-mail and two days later he had closed.

cheers GF.

A couple of hundred is ok Bones its 10,000 in a week that worries me. Good timing on the buy and it never hurts to bank a profit but I have a stop loss system that allows for a decent pull back before being hit and thus helps me ride the biggies without trying to trade them. ACE was a good example of this , bought at about 110p begining of September and got stopped out around 265p last month.

I'm a crap trader so try to look for things I can hold and ride for a few months.

Keep watching Bones , still be worth jumping in next week at 600p :-)

Cheers Dil

Dil - 04 Feb 2005 15:52 - 271 of 1341

And I just checked out ADFVN and about 100 posts on the day of a major announcement seems fair enough , some shares often had that before breakfast on a Sunday :-)

jimmy b - 04 Feb 2005 15:56 - 272 of 1341

Yes it was Durlacher who said 12 ,iv sold out on this a few times since august but im hanging in this time .Thanks Jb

capa - 04 Feb 2005 15:57 - 273 of 1341

For a share that has done so much so soon, the amount of posters is curiously
low imo

capa

goldfinger - 04 Feb 2005 16:10 - 274 of 1341

Price getting near evens all the time, just 10p down now.

cheers GF.

Roro - 04 Feb 2005 16:18 - 275 of 1341

capa there are a lot more lurkers than posters

HUSTLER - 04 Feb 2005 17:18 - 276 of 1341

days going through the roof is acceptable
1 bad day people getting spooked, dont panic
after all it only finished 10 spots down
this is the one of the hottest stock out there 10 target
is only the beginning possibly a lot more mid term.

regards HUSTLER

Bones

I'm a fairly late arrival on the scene but delighted at the first week which is multiplied through CFDs. My motto is: 'Pick stock on the fundamentals, trade on technical analysis'. The fundamentals said buy and still do, backed up by the trading statement and the Durlacher projections. A bit of a question mark on the charts. It comes down to the volume of profit takers - I don't think even Evil would try to swim against this tide. I think you were looking for views on your sell action; you've done it and that is a defensive action one wouldn't quarrel with. I would see what happens Monday: if the sp renews its climb, I would get back in; if it hesitates or drops, wait for the momentum to signal you should get back in. Its not a crime to change your mind even if at the cost of a trade or having the wrong gap between selling and buying back. But I hope you don't stay out and lose the first Durlacher objective of 7 which I think is imprinted on people's minds. Good luck.

Eric

Bones - 04 Feb 2005 19:59 - 278 of 1341

Thank you for your comments Eric. I would have no hesitation staying in on the grounds you mention but I am using what I consider to be a limited pool of funds. Consequently, I am trying to maximise my rate of gain in stocks before stepping off a slowing vehicle and onto another that looks set to accelerate (as opposed to merely increase).

My purchase of NLR has performed way beyond my expectations in a short timeframe but I could see early on that momentum was strong so I doubled my position the day after the first purchase. I have secured over a 30% gain in two weeks on twice my usual size holding. I do not see the rate of gain being sustained so I have decided to hop to a couple of other scenarios where I hope for short term acceleration. NLR's performance has been greater than expected so I am very keen to take the profit which is way above plan in the timescale.

If I had more funds to ride with, I would surely leave some here. I may well be back but we are using different criteria.

EWRobson - 04 Feb 2005 23:10 - 279 of 1341

Boney: understand. CFDs to get greater gearing from your funds? EW

Dil - 05 Feb 2005 01:20 - 280 of 1341

I too have a limited pool Bones but I sure as eck aint getting off the gravy train to gamble on some dodgy outfit with a dodgy history , no fundamentals , crap technicals , etc , etc , but I guess you wouldn't either ;-)

Good luck mate , hope it comes good for you this time , you deserve it.

All the best.
