re agm, cant see your logic there greekman.Cheers.

greekman - 16 Apr 2008 12:35 - 26369 of 27111

Hi boldtrader,

The reason re not attending from such a distance is I only have a very small amount invested in SEO, so not worth the travel.

boldtrader - 16 Apr 2008 14:28 - 26370 of 27111

Cheers Greekman. personally,I have been with SEO since 2001 on/off, in/out,but always had some holding in all that time, caught on the slide and now not a fortune of money held but a reasonable amount of shares, enough to return a comfortable amount if,IF they ever hit 5p. I believe this is still a good 2 way call.
Never attended an agm, i also live many miles from the capital but I'am toying with the idea of travelling to London(relations and a bed) and seeing/hearing for myself what the old SEO is really all about!! Good luck to you and all long term holders. Cheers.

tweenie - 17 Apr 2008 10:11 - 26371 of 27111

Yet more Jam tomorrow

jaguar121 - 17 Apr 2008 10:37 - 26372 of 27111

There is more to this than just carrier bags its the whole packaging issue

tweenie - 17 Apr 2008 10:50 - 26373 of 27111

In case you were curious as to uses.

http://www.aisa.com/aisa_pth1.html

Won't be buying anymore but await the agm a bit more relaxed.
Still no sales,
so still not confidant enought to pour more cash in.

hewittalan6 - 17 Apr 2008 10:55 - 26374 of 27111

Is this a customer??????
If so I am off to invest in producers of smelling salts, to revive shell shocked shareholders.

garyble - 17 Apr 2008 11:05 - 26375 of 27111

I would hazard a guess that they're both a customer and "partner"....have collaberated to develope a product and will now have to sell it. Bioplast is the raw material required/desired by the "partner".

hangon - 17 Apr 2008 13:07 - 26376 of 27111

Curious what with plastic being "bad" and recycling a real issue, yet even now these dullards cannot secure any sales . . . . . . what a shambles ( as AS would say): You're Fired!
It has been a long-while - so don't let anyone suggest this is a "new business" that needs time etc., etc.

Boldtrader, the agm is usually well attended, but make sure you are on the Register (or have a Broker-Note), they spend a lot of effort trying to exclude folk - yet this has to be one of the worst investments I've made.
If I can, I'll try to attend - Grr!
Monday 28 April 2008 at 10 am ( why so early? - so they can get to the Golf Club for Lunch!),

greekman - 17 Apr 2008 13:14 - 26377 of 27111

I obviously hope this new product gets off the ground but Stanelco have had several NEW packaging products in the past, which have gone nowhere.
Not de-ramping as I have no intention in increasing my holdings, just being realistic.

BAYLIS - 17 Apr 2008 13:45 - 26378 of 27111

Symphony's d2w(R) degradable plastic technology is rapidly becoming
known as the market leader throughout the world and with South Africa's
progressive attitude on environmental issues we are delighted to have increased
our participation in this important market."

SYM.

oblomov - 17 Apr 2008 14:48 - 26379 of 27111

I thought this was good news until I read 'Stanelco BioPlastics is a technical market leader in Europe' then I knew they were talking rubbish!

robinhood - 17 Apr 2008 15:19 - 26380 of 27111

First reaction: wow up 14% ,followed by second reaction 14% = a lousy 1/10 of a penny

PATISEAR - 17 Apr 2008 15:59 - 26381 of 27111

Are you a mathematician???

oblomov - 17 Apr 2008 16:43 - 26382 of 27111

1/10th of a penny - that would have bought you a row of terrace houses in Wapping when I was a lad. Dont be greedy.

Tonyrelaxes - 17 Apr 2008 17:05 - 26383 of 27111

Please excuse my wild whoops of enthusiasm at the 'news'.

It's just that I have a heavy feeling of deja vu.

However.....

micky468 - 17 Apr 2008 17:11 - 26384 of 27111

the chart's show we have goo suport at .70+ and we also had some good news out so this to me look's good for 1p very soon.............;-)

hewittalan6 - 17 Apr 2008 18:03 - 26385 of 27111

Deja Vu, Tony????

I'm sure I've read that before about SEO.

tweenie - 17 Apr 2008 18:23 - 26386 of 27111

and just before AGM.
Is it enough to string us along for another 12 months?
YES- probably.
ho hum.

The worst thing is this could be bigger than greenseal. It's a machine (worrying)-trials???? that produces plastic tubes. Everything from toothpaste, to food products ,cosmetcs etc and with decent brands already as customers for asia ........ await sales lets hope not in vain.

Tonyrelaxes - 17 Apr 2008 20:55 - 26387 of 27111

Bigger than Greenseal, Tweenie?

Hey - that good.

Greenseal was 35 by Christmas - so what now are we looking at?
