greekman. PEPPER are'nt a competitor, they use BIOPLAST. Hopefully a new revenue (Believe it when i see it).
:-)
Kim, Found a picture of a 'green seal' unfortunately, it has a pickaxe in it's head- so not really appropriate to post.

kimoldfield - 22 Apr 2008 15:12 - 26422 of 27111

Are you sure it is a seal, not a director of SEO Tweenie?!

tweenie - 22 Apr 2008 15:22 - 26423 of 27111

if only

greekman - 22 Apr 2008 15:41 - 26424 of 27111

OK thanks for that Tweenie. I must admit I am not keeping my usual records on the shares I have when it comes to Stanelco. I have so little faith left in them as a company. I obviously hope they prove me wrong and make my little holding (100,000 at an average of 7.1p) worth cashing in.

micky468 - 22 Apr 2008 17:34 - 26425 of 27111

very good rea from another site http://www.hkc22.com/bioplastics.html

It's probably Mr Mines.

bhunt1910 - 25 Apr 2008 08:16 - 26427 of 27111

Anyone going to the AGM on Monday ?

Tonyrelaxes - 25 Apr 2008 12:23 - 26428 of 27111

Yep, Baz. See you there.
I will have my gadget with me to take "verbatim notes" ;-)
so I can quote 'chapter and verse' on here to those interested on specific points..

MadPad/Morgann said he was going.

Oilywag is probably coming too. Although he got out completely, he is thinking of getting in again soon.

That surely proves lobotomy is an overrated procedure.

automatic - 25 Apr 2008 15:30 - 26429 of 27111

Not one for putting a dampener on things, but it's already being said that to much veggie is being grown for Biofuels and feeding people is more important than running cars, could the same be said for SEO ,Biotec growing potatoes for bags etc, OR do you think SEO, Biotec, will require so few potatoes that it's irrelevant
ment to put with the world food shortage

Mad Pad - 25 Apr 2008 16:55 - 26430 of 27111

Yup I'll be there but won't have time for a debrief after..have to be back in SW3 at 13.00hrs.

oblomov - 25 Apr 2008 17:00 - 26431 of 27111

automatic - it is a fact of life that for SEO to succeed the price of chip butties must rise. A most unfortunate but necessary side effect.

hewittalan6 - 25 Apr 2008 17:04 - 26432 of 27111

So should I hedge my SEO position by shorting chip butties???

Or hedge my chip butty exposure by shorting SEO???

kimoldfield - 25 Apr 2008 18:11 - 26433 of 27111

Don't think it'll make much difference Alan, being a holder of SEO shares is always going to be living life on the (h)edge!

halifax - 25 Apr 2008 18:24 - 26434 of 27111

More like living on the ledge!

automatic - 25 Apr 2008 21:59 - 26435 of 27111

oblomov
Glad to see your not taking my last post seriously (:-)))

oblomov - 25 Apr 2008 23:47 - 26436 of 27111

automatic,

on the contrary, I take your post very seriously indeed. Rising chip butty prices will not only make life less enjoyable for the common man but also impact heavily on the retial price index and could send shares into a freefall if, say, SEO secure a large order.

Is this butty a small price to play to save the planet? I'm not so sure. I guess we wont see eye to eye on this one, but luckily I'm thick skinned.

Tonyrelaxes - 27 Apr 2008 21:34 - 26437 of 27111

Is that Bio Wrap in action? (note the use of two words!)

I thought it was being trialed by McDon.. OOPS, I mean a 'major fast food company'. "I've said too much already"

Or is it now being trialed, below stairs, at Chateau Oblo?

kimoldfield - 27 Apr 2008 22:28 - 26438 of 27111

A bit more ketchup and that will be the perfect chip butty.

oblomov - 28 Apr 2008 07:37 - 26439 of 27111

I did put more ketchup on before I ate it - just didn't want to post something too gory in case any of you suffer from hemophobia, which can also be triggered by over exposure to ketchup, as we all know.

Good luck to all those of you going to the AGM - ask some tough questions, dont be fobbed off etc. Best not to mention the chip butty problem in case the press get hold of it.

I wont be going - I have something far more enjoyable to do today - I'm going to the dentists to have all my teeth extracted.

tweenie - 28 Apr 2008 07:40 - 26440 of 27111

The trading statements out. Oh how very P Mines. Lots of 'adapting', lots of
'in line' lots of dare I say it 'enquires.'
But no real news to speak off
See you at the AGM.
