So should I hedge my SEO position by shorting chip butties???
Or hedge my chip butty exposure by shorting SEO???

Don't think it'll make much difference Alan, being a holder of SEO shares is always going to be living life on the (h)edge!

automatic,
on the contrary, I take your post very seriously indeed. Rising chip butty prices will not only make life less enjoyable for the common man but also impact heavily on the retial price index and could send shares into a freefall if, say, SEO secure a large order.
Is this butty a small price to play to save the planet? I'm not so sure. I guess we wont see eye to eye on this one, but luckily I'm thick skinned.

Is that Bio Wrap in action? (note the use of two words!)
I thought it was being trialed by McDon.. OOPS, I mean a 'major fast food company'. "I've said too much already"
Or is it now being trialed, below stairs, at Chateau Oblo?

A bit more ketchup and that will be the perfect chip butty.

I did put more ketchup on before I ate it - just didn't want to post something too gory in case any of you suffer from hemophobia, which can also be triggered by over exposure to ketchup, as we all know.
Good luck to all those of you going to the AGM - ask some tough questions, dont be fobbed off etc. Best not to mention the chip butty problem in case the press get hold of it.
I wont be going - I have something far more enjoyable to do today - I'm going to the dentists to have all my teeth extracted.

The trading statements out. Oh how very P Mines. Lots of 'adapting', lots of
'in line' lots of dare I say it 'enquires.'
But no real news to speak off
See you at the AGM.

Hope they put some substance on the inferences and don't end up with political speak spin.
At least we don't have to wait long to see.

I like the phrase "further commercialization".
Lord knows where that one came from. For there to be any "further", surely there has to have been some!!
Must have missed that, unless they got rid of the greenseal machines at a car boot sale.

Lots of of profit taking.
By those lucky enough to have brought at .02p.
Nothing inspires confidence like a trading statement by Mr Mines.
and I mean nothing.
What an absolute COCK.

'the Stanelco Bioplastics team have begun to achieve some encouraging sales traction'
What the hell is 'sales traction'? I thought traction was something you put a broken leg in.
'Development trials at the bioplastic pilot unit, commissioned recently in the
Company's UK facility, have started '
Whooppee!!! More trials.
'an expansive set of trials are underway'
Expansive or expensive?
'Sales are in line with Board expectations and last year'
i.e. Zilch!
'At 31st March we had cash of 7.5m and continue to consider sensible investment
opportunities for these funds.'
Well, don't invest it in SEO - put it somewhere sensible like Northern Rock.
'We expect continued good progress in the Company's main businesses'
i.e. RF applications - nothing very explosive likely to happen there. And presumably if they single out RF applications to comment on 'good progress' , they're not expecting good progress elsewhere.
Mr Mines is beginning to sound like Gordon Brown.

Traction... Meaning to stretch (could that mean stretching sales or the facts).
Continued good progress in the Company's main businesses...Meaning we sold 2 RF machines this year against 1 last year.
I will be very happy to eat my words so to speak, if the AGM gives believable substance, but not holding my breath.
To me this is the last chance the present board have of putting that forever elusive MEAT ON THE BONE.

Just back from AGM - and some beers after!!
I got there after the AGM formal proceedings but got most of PMs presentation.
Basically 'tomorrow'. Now have we heard that before?
This time PM is purposely preferring keeping quiet.
Many trials under way - some with costs (or materials) being paid for by the other party.
BioTec capacity available now 24/7.
Some bioplastic uses now in market place eg. phone cards
Agricultural applications of bio plastics under way - soil coverings, tree tubes etc.
If this were my first SEO AGM, I would be pretty excited. But it is my 4th...
