Still Waiting
- 21 Sep 2003 22:33
The chart for this stock says it all.
The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.
The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.
The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.
With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.
MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

well i'm out for the moment, i think the results especialy the sales growth were dissappointing so i still think they have further to drop but a good buying opportunity is over the horizon somewhere(IMO)

wf,
Unfortunately I'm not in a position to do the same (otherwise I would). Holding and waiting... no doubt until at least the next full yr results :(

Usual story with Cybit!
I just topped up. Bought 170,956 @ 1.419. (15:33 today)
Shown as a sell. How many more trades are wrongly labelled?
A great number IMO!
OH!
BTW I didn't buy because I thought they would drop ;-)

Well, I have to confess to topping up yet again myself. Bought @ 1.425 (gift imho), mine did show as a buy. Just couldn't resist at these prices and it did help me to average down a tad. Of course, only time will tell!
I decided, if I'm going to hold, I must envisage them going up, so this is why I bought! apart from I think this is a good egg, that will come in sooner or later. I aren't desperate for the money, so may aswell I tuck it away.
You wouldn't want to short it - would you?

understand how you feel skids , been there got the tee shirt. However if i am right I still think they have got further to go so perhaps an opportunity if some funds become available to average down?(i think there will be no hurry for people to get back in as there is nothing dynamic going to happen short term(IMO) I would think 1.3p is on the cards infact it could get close to 1p .all IMHO.Incidently i would buy back in myself so if this is rubbish i'm kidding myself as well

I note that no profit warning had been released by CYH as has been the case with many companies at the start of the close period. I am not fully familiar with the Stock Exchange requirements for this. But I was under the impression that if the company's situation was to be significantly changed between the start of the close period and the announcement of the reults, that change had to be notified to the market.
I would be thankful, if I have been under the wrong impression if someone would clarify the position for me please.

There were a lot of deals that were marked as sells when they should have been buys so I agree with you Red Underwing... lots of mislabelling. I wonder how the Buy to Sell ratio would look if the labels were correct? A lot different I suspect.
After monitoring the price for two days I too had a few more at 1.425. At this price my average has shot down and therefore, my recovery will be far quicker.
It's not all doom and gloom, just a little tilt on how the reporting of profits is shown, which in the long run will be a very good thing!
As far as short term goes, well, we have the consolidation meeting on the 20th so not long to wait there...

very good optomistic!
think of the BBs as a rubber band....you can only stretch it so far and then ping?
just hope it pings in an upward direction!
interesting that the MMs will now pay 1.3p for stock when earlier you could only get 1.26p....the tide is turning me thinks!

Thank you for the explanation Mack. Hope it's a good indication. Just looking at the situation I was of a mind that it could be some while before we got back on an upward track (I would like the BB's to prove me wrong)
Got my advice about the consolidation from my nominee account this AM. Don't like the idea, do you think it could get knocked back at the EGM?

1,000,000 buy at 1.35p confirms my optimism that CYH has become seriously oversold...

Also 500,000 @1.4!
Could it have been a sell? I don't think so somehow.
That makes it a buy in my book, even though it was a late notification.
I'm hopimg it will turn upwards over the next 2 days. I think the signs are right.
