kimoldfield - 16 May 2008 11:33 - 26542 of 27111

There'll be nine Stanelco shareholders hanging on the wall.

anyone see the item on potato starch food trays on the BBC last evening--used for fish and chips and other packaging. The reporter said it's the next big thing-----please tell me seo make them!!!

halifax - 16 May 2008 11:57 - 26544 of 27111

Might be more edible than some fish and chips!

moneyplus

Can you tel us what BBC channel/time please.

Fred1new - 16 May 2008 11:58 - 26546 of 27111

If you are hungry enough, and if the trays are any good, you will be able to eat them. Probably bettter for you than the chips.

Dual selling points for the trays.

But it would be nice, if they are producing something!

Fred1new - 16 May 2008 12:00 - 26547 of 27111

Perhaps you could flavour the trays.

moneyplus - 16 May 2008 12:01 - 26548 of 27111

around 6pm on bbc1 South West area talking about our mountain of plastic and how to solve it. The report was from a dark haired girl talking about eating chips from a potato starch tray. I only caught the end of it-I'm sorry.

PATISEAR - 16 May 2008 12:05 - 26549 of 27111

Thanks.

Phew!

A momentous occasaion for me today - after some 4 years as a SEO shareholder I've finally seen sense and sold out. I've put the entire proceeds into Rift Oil. I think I have an outside chance of getting back my SEO losses that way. Something that was never going to happen if I'd stayed in SEO!

It's only been 10 minutes and already I feel like a normal person again! They're actually coming tomorrow to let me out of the padded cell and undo the padlock on the strait jacket!!!!!

What an uplifting experience - all I can do now is wish all you diehards from the 28p days the greatest of good luck and sympathy. I may look in from time to time and pass comment - its a hard habit to break, and I'm still interested, though more in the same way an innocent bystander can't resist looking at the aftermath of a road accident!

Cheers all.

PATISEAR
Programme called THE ONE SHOW 7pm BBC1

greekman - 16 May 2008 15:14 - 26553 of 27111

Moneyplus,

Sounds like a great idea, the only thing is we have heard similar before.
Well over 2 years ago it was suggested that bio-degradable material be used for take away trays, and fast food wrappings by McDonalds. That was an article linked to SEO. As we know nothing became of it.
If this (fish/chips) tray idea does come to fruition, lets just hope SEO don't miss out as usual.

automatic

Tried BBC 'FlashPlayer', could not get it.
Thanks

Fred1new - 16 May 2008 15:15 - 26555 of 27111

Money, concentrate on the information not the girl. 8-)

Difficult sometimes, if I was 40 years younger I would have done the same.

kimoldfield - 16 May 2008 16:08 - 26556 of 27111

The One Show is on BBC iPlayer at :-

I have it playing at the moment but it has not got to the potato bit yet!

kimoldfield - 16 May 2008 16:43 - 26557 of 27111

No mention of SEO, just Potatopak in Coventry, but at least I know how to use a potato as a battery now and I've seen a sports car with potato components, including tyres made partly from spuds! Interesting bit on Alzheimer's with Terry Pratchett.

hewittalan6 - 16 May 2008 17:05 - 26558 of 27111

The greatest author the world has ever seen.

PATISEAR - 17 May 2008 10:22 - 26559 of 27111
