I suppose birmingham is a bit far, although croc came down to the first one, and isn't he from somewhere near there?

Golddog - 31 Oct 2003 17:05 - 2657 of 23498

Maybe, but he has a private jet! (so i heard?) :-)

Golddog - 31 Oct 2003 17:08 - 2658 of 23498

Anyway im spending the weekend scrubbing the cellar floor so catch you all when i have finished. bye bye.

little woman - 31 Oct 2003 17:39 - 2659 of 23498

I seem to have lost access to my bank account through the internet. Suppose I better give them a ring and check if everything is OK.

Socrates - 01 Nov 2003 10:28 - 2660 of 23498

Good morning anyone. Just a cornflakes day today with a nice hot cuppa. Off later for a walk into town to buy the dailies and my usual lottery ticket. I wonder if the pooch is still in the cellar?

little willie - 01 Nov 2003 10:38 - 2661 of 23498

No one in this gaff so I'll sidle over to the bar and have a 'stiff one',
quite amazing sometimes how a balloon of brandy is like a shot in the arm.

Watched a double helping of rugby early on, 'Jocks' v Fiji,
['Jocks' scraped through, whheee!] AND THEN;
the match they've been talking about all week here.
The 'Boks' v Samoa.
Everyone here was convinced that Boks would lose but I stuck me head out and thought otherwise and so it proved to be. Wow!!.
England flags still adorning my drum but all week have also had SA flags, side by side.
Yesterday a national magazine's photographer arrived and took pictures of me in England regalia on my balcony with said flags!!!

lw..hope you found your account, that would worry me no end...unless of course, your account transferred into mine at 'Smile'..lol..

Goldie...the cellar looks much better, hows about setting up a 'still' there and try your paw at making "poocheen"?

Suns shining here altho bit windy so keeping the temp down to middle 20's.
Ah well, someones gotta do it...

jeffmack - 01 Nov 2003 11:19 - 2662 of 23498

Watching the Aussies V Ireland, great effort so far from the Iriosh boys. Got some friends out there and they keep calling me, they are absolutely pie eyed

stockbunny - 01 Nov 2003 12:13 - 2663 of 23498

Morning People! A quiet start to the day after the mania of trick or treat
yesterday early evening! I hope everyone was well stocked with goodies
for a little dears when they came a-calling?

See Socs. has been in this AM - What's all this cornflakes rubbish!!
No more nippy crab sandwiches required this AM???
Left you a couple in the fridge by the way for later...

JeffMack----Hmmm 'bunny-girl'...hmmm...Nice imagination you got and
I'll take it as a kind compliment to an old hopper

Socrates - 01 Nov 2003 14:57 - 2664 of 23498

stockbunny
Come on now, crab butties for breakfast? Whatever next! As for trick or treat, it's a case of batten down the hatches and disconnect the doorbell, switch off the front house lights and pretend we're out.

Jeff
What's this "OLD HOPPER" bit, don't tell me you've scrapped your Zimmer!

Golddog - 01 Nov 2003 16:21 - 2665 of 23498

Bunny, Your only as old as you feel that's why Socks looks 156! and littlewille is yet to be born! Anyway you can be as young as you like here at the Tea Rooms so now that i have finished scrubbing the cellar floor lets go for a 46 mile jog around the Cafe gardens. Now where is my lead?

Im having a bbq this evening with fireworks so i'd better get it out.

Socrates - 01 Nov 2003 17:22 - 2666 of 23498

GD
Having a barbecue with fireworks would be very risky, better use charcoal like other people do.

This_is_me - 01 Nov 2003 22:30 - 2667 of 23498

Yes shame about the Irish, however with any luck they will get stuffed in the next round - they always hope British teams get stuffed.

Socrates - 02 Nov 2003 08:28 - 2668 of 23498

Bonjour.

jeffmack - 02 Nov 2003 09:27 - 2669 of 23498

savva

little willie - 02 Nov 2003 10:00 - 2670 of 23498

G'day,
England blew away Uraguay and now Wales having a right go at the All Blacks
having lost a guy with what looks a horrific injury to the neck, hope its not broken poor devil.

Felt really sorry for the Paddies yesterday but what a game.

Hils mob won again and Saints lost, bugger.

Wales just got a TRY so I'm off to watch the rest of the match.

Socrates - 02 Nov 2003 10:43 - 2671 of 23498

Here endeth the lesson!

Socrates - 02 Nov 2003 16:18 - 2672 of 23498
