Hello LT holders.
Thought I might have missed some news over the weekend- what with the nice weather was otherwise engaged.
Don't know whether to be dissapointed/happy with the rise.
Still holding, but reluctant to purcase any more without sales.
No doubt will rise upto interims, then drop on the promise of 'jam tomorrow'
wish you all well

Agreed it does look like it. With shares as with everything else, those with enough money can and do manipulate the price, although some still argue that share manipulation does not exist.
Shares are a commodity much as everything else.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Asda are commencing sales of milk in cardboard containers. These containers have an inner biodegradable bag (presumably of biodegradable plastic). The cardboard bottles as they are called can be recycled or used for compost. The intention is to go nationwide.
The carbon foot print of these containers is 48% lower that the all plastic containers we usually see.
As Stanelco were initially trialing biodegradable bags with Asda, I wonder if they are in any way linked to this product.
I very much doubt it but is it possible.
Thought anyone.

Surely they would have to issue RNS on this news today, if they were involved.
Has anyone asked (phoned) the company yet.

A couple of years ago I would have agreed with you as they released RNS's like they were going out of fashion. IF and it's a big IF there is a link there might be a release as such a tie-up would obviously effect the sp in a fairly big way. But if you look over the last 12/18 months Stanelco have gone from releasing such news straight away to delaying such up to the LSE time limits. They are also on record as stating that they do not intend to release news of every contract (although 1 would be nice).
I only posted as it appears Stanelco are dead in the water regarding news or any hints of progress, and I am probably clutching at proverbial straws.
As to contacting the company, their PR is worse than useless. Also if there was a connection they would not confirm or deny, as they would state such was market sensitive and could not be released except via a general notification, as has happened many times before.

See ASDA media centre web site which states the milk bottles are supplied by GreenBottle, no mention of any SEO involvement.

Yes, but do GreenBottle source the inner bio-plastic bag from SEO!

Read the news release!

Read the Asda news and although no mention of Stanelco's involvement it does not state where the bio-plastic is sourced from, although as GreenBottle have had a connection with Asda for some time I would have thought any connection GreenBottle/Stanelco would be public knowledge. So it is looking that yet another company has/is leapfrogging Stanelco in the bio race. Look forward to any reply from nkirkup's e-mail but not holding my breath for them to reply or/and state anything informative.

the lining is NOT biodegradeable it is polythene based.
It can however be made from starch if required.
Source therefore would probably be natureworks- as pla supplier to all including seo.
Sorry to piss on anyones fire.
