Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Morning Bunny, thanks for making arrangements for the christmas period.

Does Mrs S offer any other 'services' from her name she sounds as though she might !

kimoldfield - 21 Dec 2009 11:08 - 2671 of 4886

Oh.....what! All my Christmases in one! Thanks Bunny!!! (Munch, munch, slurp, burp) Oops! Pardon me.

stockbunny - 21 Dec 2009 11:14 - 2672 of 4886

Goodness slow down Kim it's all available all week LOL
Spacie - I don't know, you could ask her but be polite as she was wrestling champion in the ol'Eastern Block days.......
;>)

kimoldfield - 21 Dec 2009 11:19 - 2673 of 4886

I wouldn't ask if I were you Spacie! :o)

stockbunny - 21 Dec 2009 11:31 - 2674 of 4886

Depends how daring he is feeling I suppose, (whispers...) mind you even challenging her to an arm wrestle could result in a trip to casualty, have you seem the size of those biceps! ;>)

Spaceman - 21 Dec 2009 11:34 - 2675 of 4886

Dont worry I wont be asking, in fact I think I may give the place a miss while she in is residence.

Mrs Spaceman used to have an ex eastern block swimming champion as a swimming teacher and she was not someone that you would want to upset.

kimoldfield - 21 Dec 2009 13:02 - 2676 of 4886

I don't think you would upset her Spacie, as long as you eat her her wonderfully boozey christmas puds, mince pies, christmas cake and raspberry trifle. (Munch, munch) (Glances over shoulder at those enormous biceps) (Gulp).

stockbunny - 21 Dec 2009 14:20 - 2677 of 4886

Yes it would make anyone think twice about sending the food back wouldn't it LOL
Pass another of those mince pies Kim - hmm I could get quite used to this :>)
I'll put one of those cheesy Christmas songs CD's on I think, opps I'll miss track one (Cliff Richard) LOL ;>)

kimoldfield - 21 Dec 2009 23:12 - 2678 of 4886

Oh I wish it could be Christmas everydayyeyay.....da da de d, didee dee, dee, dayeyeyeyeyyyeay.....

Spaceman - 22 Dec 2009 08:14 - 2679 of 4886

kimoldfield - 22 Dec 2009 08:25 - 2680 of 4886

The supply is endless this week Scrooge....er I mean Spacie! ;o)

Spaceman - 22 Dec 2009 08:30 - 2681 of 4886

Excellent in that case I will have 5.

kimoldfield - 22 Dec 2009 08:40 - 2682 of 4886

Why not make it 6, nice even number?!

stockbunny - 23 Dec 2009 09:49 - 2683 of 4886

Morning folks, still frozen solid outside the warren, did the usual scrum and jostle yesterday also known as the last supermarket shop before Christmas LOL It gets ugly out there people, normally mild tempered women turn into wild predators of bags of sprouts and nothing and no-one will survive if they get between them and their prey! ;>)

kimoldfield - 23 Dec 2009 10:09 - 2684 of 4886

Morning Bunny! I know what you mean about scrum and jostle. My wife and I went to Sainsbury's yesterday evening having given it a miss earlier in the day as it was packed. It was still packed. We are out for Christmas Day so didn't need much other than the usual daily stuff. There were couples arguing in every aisle! There was even one fella arguing with himself or so I thought, until I saw his earpiece! Oh happy days. :o)

stockbunny - 23 Dec 2009 12:15 - 2685 of 4886

That my friend is the joys of Christmas LOL

kimoldfield - 23 Dec 2009 14:08 - 2686 of 4886

Too true! Have a mince pie......................another of the joys! :o)

stockbunny - 24 Dec 2009 08:57 - 2687 of 4886

Merry Christmas to everyone who pops in over the feastive period - here's to a much better economic 2010 for us all - happiness, good health and wealth folks :>)

kimoldfield - 24 Dec 2009 11:30 - 2688 of 4886

Yes, Merry Christmas and a cracking 2010 Bunny and all!

First 'real' snow for a few years here.

Greystone - 24 Dec 2009 12:01 - 2689 of 4886
