THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

UKIP was down to 11% last week. It just shows the poor quality of the polls and that there is no long term support for UKIP.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Hays its the labour figure you should be worried about.

LENs coming to GET YOU.

Haystack - 05 Jul 2013 11:03 - 26778 of 81564

Long way off an election and the public doesn't trust Labour over the economy.

goldfinger - 05 Jul 2013 11:04 - 26779 of 81564

People are just getting fed up with Cameron telling lies and avoiding questions and blaming labour. Hes been in power over 3 years now.

They can now see through him.

The childish behaviour of the Tory front bench at PMQs on wed has repulsed the nation.

Cameron..... time to GROW UP.

goldfinger - 05 Jul 2013 11:08 - 26780 of 81564

ha ha ha ha Hays, the Poll says otherwise.

They dont trust the Tory party anymore.

This week has been a watershed, people want a more left wing opposition. Milly at last is starting to see that.

Mcluskey for all his downs has stirred the labour party, and it was needed.

Fred1new - 05 Jul 2013 11:08 - 26781 of 81564

Does it trust the cons and libs?

--------

Watch the R/wing tory loonies fighting with the tory "wets" or was that tory "bedwetters" as they come up for retribution at the next General election.

gf
This is your favourite Yougov poll this morning

http://yougov.co.uk/news/2013/07/05/update-labour-lead-8/

Latest YouGov / The Sun results 4th July - Con 31%, Lab 39%, LD 11%, UKIP 12%;

Paints quite a different picture

goldfinger - 05 Jul 2013 11:15 - 26783 of 81564

No thats your favourite poll, the one you used to say you took part in!!!!.

By the way the one I posted was 12 hours later than the one above. That one doesnt take into account actions yesterday evening.

And we all know the Sun is a tory rag.

But even with those figures labour would form an overal maj government.

I suspect the true figure is something like a 10% lead.

The big % leads of Blair are history now with partys being too similar to each other.

Haystack - 05 Jul 2013 11:26 - 26784 of 81564

The figures are normal for mid term. By the election the economy my will be better and the Conservatives will romp home.

Haystack - 05 Jul 2013 11:27 - 26785 of 81564

Forget about Mandela, it is Miliband that is in a vegetative state.

Fred1new - 05 Jul 2013 11:28 - 26786 of 81564

But Hays, from your postings you appear rampant about yourself and the party of con men's appeal to the "voters", but the poll suggest, both you and your party are burst flushes.

Stop looking at your back pocket, the problems are in front of you.
---------------------

The debate on the EU, being held in HPs to-day is a party political stunt to try and save the tory party from a complete split of back stabbers.

Cameron is a sham, trying to hold on to power for his own self-interests and for the benefits for his lobbying cohorts and puppeteers.

There is no doubt that Labour/Unite are imploding. McCluskey is threatening to sue the Labour party claiming that it smeared Unite. It is good to see what Labour and Unite are really like.

The Conservatives are having Christmas early this year with the Labour slanging matches.

skinny - 05 Jul 2013 11:44 - 26788 of 81564

Little did she know that I know that...

Unite's Len McCluskey attacks Labour over Falkirk probe

Labour leader Ed Miliband is in a stand-off with the party's biggest union backer over the selection of candidates for the next election.

Unite general secretary Len McCluskey has denounced a Labour internal inquiry into candidate selection in Falkirk as a "stitch-up".

He denied claims Unite signed up new party members without them knowing, to influence the process.

Labour's Angela Eagle denies Unite's claims the party "smeared" the union.
