ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

Would be very surprised if it continues, though saying that it still heads north to 4.40. have taken a bit more profit at 4.36 and see how it goes. Going out to lunch on asc now..see you later.. lol

harrycat thanks for the reply, below is a post of ek from another board dsted 1st oct. his short over the last few years has cost him a lot of money and anyone else that followed his tip.
Gentlemen,

I think that those who care to strip out overseas success (which is currently on a small base and wide open to competition) will find that the UK end of ASOS is turning in pedestrian sales growth when compared to the UK competition. All this has been only to be expected through a study of Hitwise. It has been a long wait for ASOS to top out. But now it has.

Can anyone explain why asc is still climbing... 4.50p at the mo on 98000 vol, just doesn't make sense to me. not complaining mind just confused.

tomasz - 25 Nov 2009 08:47 - 2685 of 5941

it is a drama that people listen or follow someone like cawkwell

Balerboy - 25 Nov 2009 08:53 - 2686 of 5941

if woodies post above is to be believed then topping out should have finished days ago and dropped back as expected, not continue climbing.

tomasz - 25 Nov 2009 09:40 - 2687 of 5941

452!! can't belive my eyes!!:))this is awsome

tomasz - 25 Nov 2009 22:39 - 2688 of 5941

awesome yea.. but truly i've got huge headache.i found that some usa's analitics did some calculations about sales from their perspective and what they came out with nailed my ass to the floor.they estimate not 40% as most uk analitics , they estimate 61%!! from sales.now as lots of institutional guys made their moves just before update as they know things that we don't , im just wondering is there anything in yankees calculations, cause if yes , maybe round number coming?

Balerboy - 26 Nov 2009 07:56 - 2689 of 5941
