THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

TANKER - 08 Jul 2013 13:01 - 26862 of 81564

this government is the worst government of all time down to a coalition of crazy stupid clowns called LIBS it going to cost the torys big time but has destroyed the clowns that is good news

vote UKIP .

WE HAVE A GOV OF LIARS AND CROOKS

goldfinger - 08 Jul 2013 13:16 - 26863 of 81564

TANKER...... any ideas who to contact over party funding for UKIP???????.

Prepared to pay over /up to £200,000 grand annualy.

Haystack - 08 Jul 2013 13:25 - 26864 of 81564

£200,000 grand is £200m. Mind you, neither figure is believable.

cynic - 08 Jul 2013 13:27 - 26865 of 81564

sticky - i'ld be very surprised if you even gave £200 let alone £2,000 or multiples thereof to any party

goldfinger - 08 Jul 2013 13:34 - 26866 of 81564

Hays....... not very convincing after the Tory press/media have smoothered labour with the Mcluskey episode.

Labour 1% up on last week in first poll. then in second poll exactly same as last week.

Note aswel both Tory rags.........

electionista‏@electionista7 Jul
UK - YouGov/Sunday Times poll: CON 33%, LAB 39%, LDEM 11%, UKIP 12%

electionista‏@electionista5 Jul
UK - YouGov/Sun poll: CON 31%, LAB 39%, LDEM 11%, UKIP 12%

Fact is people....... voters always vote with their wallet/purse.

On election day it will be decided by whos going to give the individual a bigger back pocket, and its certainly not the Torries.

goldfinger - 08 Jul 2013 13:43 - 26867 of 81564

Hays FACT........ its less money they will recieve FROM ME and my club than historical.

If Cameron cares to carry on like a big kid in PMQs I reckon funding from the whole of the country will be well down.

Me and fellow members are now pushing for a new leader.

We want big Teresa or a comeback for Mick Portillo.

Other members are wanting to support UKIP. Its getting a bit frenzied, but clearly come about by Cameron and the Bullingdon boys club.

If this present lot are not moved I cant see this club ever supporting Tory again.

EXCELENT...... a post by Hays thats not trash..........

So when exactly can we expect to see a post from fishfinger that isn't trash?

Haystack - 08 Jul 2013 14:06 - 26869 of 81564

gf
You may notice that in your two polls from yougov, the Conservatives have closed the gap by two points from 8 to 6!

Cameron is brilliant at PMQs and Miliband comes across as an idiotic schoolboy. Miliband will be looking forward to the recess as it will reduce the amount of kicking he has been getting. This Wednesday's session should be entertaining. Who would have thought we would see the day when a Labour leader would send a report on the biggest trade union to the police.

Oh happy days!

goldfinger - 08 Jul 2013 14:26 - 26872 of 81564

Hilary turned off again....... childish.

Hays are you really getting excited with the Labour lead???????.

These days them polls are far more accurate than in YOUR days.

Still the three some to come up in court yet. Watch the tory support SLUMP and it will.

Even some suggestions that Coulson Rebbeca and Call me dave in the same bed at once. Where was the horse?.

goldfinger - 08 Jul 2013 14:28 - 26873 of 81564

FACT.....Hays take it into your thick brain.

LABOUR ARE AHEAD AND WINNING.

goldfinger - 08 Jul 2013 14:29 - 26874 of 81564

UKIP are Potentially labours biggest threat going foward.

Haystack - 08 Jul 2013 14:35 - 26875 of 81564

The Labour lead of 6% is excellent. It is probably only 3% when you allow for error rates. The economy is improving. A report came out yesterday showing business confidence having risen for 5 months in a row. It is at its highest level for 18 months now.

Seymour Clearly - 08 Jul 2013 16:59 - 26876 of 81564

From Andy Murray's mouth: That's not the first thing that comes into your head Winning Wimbledon is what's special about yesterday. Obviously it's a ridiculous amount of money. Nothing planned, but I will treat myself to a nice break and holiday with my girlfriend.

skinny - 08 Jul 2013 17:03 - 26877 of 81564

I thought he had donated his winnings to charity - apparently It is the 36th time a British man has won the Wimbledon singles title - more than any other nation!

Fred1new - 08 Jul 2013 17:17 - 26878 of 81564

Nothing to it then!

Haystack - 08 Jul 2013 17:44 - 26879 of 81564

It has been widely reported, but looks like a hoax. He did donate his Queen's winnings of £75,000 though.

3 monkies - 08 Jul 2013 18:49 - 26880 of 81564

How much is Andy Murray making out of advertising alone?? He has probably given his money to charity and the rest.

dreamcatcher - 08 Jul 2013 19:45 - 26881 of 81564

As Andy Murray triumphs at Wimbledon to end 77 years of British hurt, how much can the tennis superstar now expect to earn?
Murray is already worth an estimated £32million, and according to industry experts, yesterday’s win could earn him a whopping £100million over the next five years.
