How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

United losing the plot - Ronaldo a pathetic dive, Van Nistelroy booked for kicking the ball away, 2 lectures for Rooney for dissent

Had a lot of injuries, not looked fully fit at any stage of the season to me. Also he like most strikers is a confidence player and he hasnt played enough football to be confident. also a fair few rumours around hes been touting for a move to either madrid or barca in the summer

Some great quotes on Five Live this evening - Alan Greene "Who does Rio Fredinard think he is? He thinks he's a far better player than he actually is!"
Alan Greene "Saha is off due to an elbow in the face" Mark Lawerson "If he is it's his first touch"
Priceless :-)

3 - 1 Thank you Chelsea, fully expect Man U to rest players at the weekend now. Right what do Fulham have left to play for?

Just been looking at the prices for this weekends matches. I think they are mainly way off the mark. All the bottom four are priced to win their games and the odds look very weird indeed.

i dare say there is now more of a chance of ferguson giving them the hair drier treatment and sending out his best team saturday to get a good win under the belt prior to the cup final.
As for most of them, on the effort levels they have put in then they should have no need for a rest

just had a quick flick - think your right, they all look way overdone:
Norwich 2.32 to win away from home, something they have failed on their previous 18 attempts - going to lay norwich
Southampton 2.38 vs Man Utd 2.92 - sorry guys but im having some of the 2.92
West Brom 1.68 at home to Portsmouth - another lay
CPalace 2.32 away to Charlton who are 3.1 - yet another lay

I'll run the stats on Friday and post up based on short and long term form and compare. I think the odds represent a remarkable turnaround in form or a downright fraud if all of them come in!

Fundy,
With those odds and no emotional involvement there should be some good opportunities. I think the market is full of hopeful fans wanting there team to win and stay up.
Of course we all know that Saints will get the only win this weekend. ;-)

I remeber the Arsenal fans being shocked that all the Southampton fans stayed behind at the end of the FA Cup final. Hell it was 1976 the last time we had anything to shout about we weren't going to miss the chance despite the fact we lost.

the bigger the club and the more success they have had the more fickle they get - i have been astounded with the reactions of some arsenal fans sometimes and have often admired the fans of some of the so called smaller clubs - i remember newcastle fans at highbury a few years back when arsenal were winning 4-0 with about 20 mins to go and the only fans you could hear were the geordies with songs like were gonna win 5-4, shall we sing a song for you etc etc - and with 10 mins to go some of the arsenal fans started to leave to beat the traffic - unbelievable
