Ptholden - better off putting a tenner on Arsenal for the premiership @14-1 - more likely than the above, but still easy money for the bookies.

Skinners - use Betfair, at least your lost money goes to an anonymous punter rather than Ladbrookes (probably)

Im talking Rugby Union here.
Football wise I think we might have a good team come the next Euros all these young 2 footed midfielders. Barklay, southampton captain, spurs lad, Wilshire and quite a few more.

Chris - I certainly wouldn't bet on England winning the World Cup, too many matches involved to achieve that, but Man Utd only have two matches against Bayern and if Van Persie is in the right mood it's possible. I'm not a Man Utd fan btw!

Feel sorry for David de Geah, after the first leg he will be suffering from repetitive strain injury due to the amount of times he picks the ball out the back of the net.

Robin van Persie will miss Manchester United’s Champions League quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich after being ruled out for 4-6 weeks with a knee ligament injury.
The Dutch forward, who was injured in the final stages of United’s 3-0 victory against Olympiakos on Wednesday, could face a battle to be fully fit for the World Cup if the injury keeps him out of action beyond the six week period suggested by the club’s medical staff.
Having spent the day on crutches at United’s Carrington training ground on Thursday, Van Persie underwent a second scan on his knee today.
And United have confirmed this evening that he could now be sidelined until May with the injury.
A United spokesperson said: “Following further investigation Robin van Persie has a sprained knee which will keep him out for around 4-6 weeks.”

Van Persie’s injury is a hammer blow for manager David Moyes ahead of a crucial stage of the campaign for the beleaguered manager.
United must now face European champions Bayern next month without their leading goalscorer.
And potentially more damaging is the prospect of losing Van Persie for the remainder of the Premier League campaign, with United needing to catch Everton in sixth place to qualify for the Europa League.
United, currently seventh, are three points behind Everton, who have played one game fewer than the faltering champions.

I reckon Chelsea can qualify...ManU will have to go at Bayern like mad to get through (you cannot let a team like that rest for a second)....Real should go through...and here's the surprise : I cannot see Barcelona getting the better of Atletico.....(£100 says so)....
