LONDON (AFX) - Provexis PLC said it has entered into a long-term collaboration agreement with Unilever PLC to jointly develop a new concentrated format of its patented Fruitflow heart-health technology for application in Unilever's food product portfolio.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The partners plan to enter into a global licence arrangement for the technology.
Fruitflow is a patented natural extract from tomato which Provexis said has been shown in human trials to reduce the propensity for aberrant blood clotting that is typically associated with cardiovascular disease and which can lead to heart attack or stroke.
In 2005 the market for heart benefit foods was worth 4 bln usd globally, Provexis added.
Considering the growth potential this share has a target of about 8-10p in the medium tern and is a good buy at current levels
As usual, pls do ur own research.

I paid just under 8p for my first lot in 2006, first time it's been in profit! If the potential of this share is fulfilled I won't be selling, though I have traded it a few times over the last week.

well I've been away for 3 days and I'm delighted to see what pci gkp and pxs have done for my portfolio!! If pxs get all the prospective deals we should easily reach a pound--in time. Anyone who has to suffer the consequences of daily aspirin/warfarin for blood thinning will be grateful, airlines may launch approved drinks to prevent dvt---the sky could be the limit! It only needs Cocacola to come onboard and we may have another asos here. I sold that at 10p and thought I did well.

I still can't see what all the fuss is about...I could have bought but it reminds me of Stanelco.....I mean there must be loads of pharmas like this with a great product about to be market...(it takes years)....what's so special about this one ? Coca cola to launch their drink with an additive for airlines: they would have to be supremely confident....otherwise...I'd like to get in but...

What's the market cap ? Money AM say 45 million, but that's been there for some time now....must be more...I fear a serious bubble burst if I get in ....feel a bit late, but then I thought that at 5p....
