Agreed cynic, he is a total arsehole - sorry to say it has been an ongoing pattern for many years. He's got a huge chip on his shoulders, which results in an ego which needs constant massaging = a need to try to impress people - hence the recent pontificating about the amount of money which he has purportedly donated to the Conservative party.
