THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Judging by the stories about his age, donations to Conservatives, his millions, swimming pool etc it would seem he is suffering from Mythomania or even worse Pseudologia Fantastica.

Haystack - 09 Jul 2013 18:23 - 26941 of 81564

The IMF has revised the UK's growth figures upwards.

goldfinger - 09 Jul 2013 21:26 - 26942 of 81564

Very strange that manufacturing results today were way off analyst predictions.

Are you sure Hays are you really sure the economy is growing.

By the way always the same with the posh boys all stick together like Leemings. All YES MEN.

If Hays told Cyners to jump off London Bridge he do it. Shame really that they cant think for themselves. Always the same with snooty ex public school boys. Pathetic.

cynic - 09 Jul 2013 21:31 - 26943 of 81564

sticky - please tell me why from time to time you really do revert to being a total arsehole ..... mind you, there are several on this board who think you are never anything other than that

doodlebug4 - 09 Jul 2013 21:59 - 26944 of 81564

Agreed cynic, he is a total arsehole - sorry to say it has been an ongoing pattern for many years. He's got a huge chip on his shoulders, which results in an ego which needs constant massaging = a need to try to impress people - hence the recent pontificating about the amount of money which he has purportedly donated to the Conservative party. You can't really blame posters for taking the piss occasionally.

goldfinger - 09 Jul 2013 23:13 - 26945 of 81564

Its the old Bum Boy Network isnt it cynic, you find it developing from the age of 4 and is carried forward in to the public school boy network. A breeding ground for raving crazy homosexuals (dont get me wrong I have no prejudicies for gays) but it happens so often in these same sex schools that yes men are produced and then later nurtured into Spys.

I just cant see why you all agree all the time and never pull each other up.

Just go back and look at your relationship with Hays.

PATHETIC.

You scratch my back and Ill scratch your back, really childish and god help voters in this country that we have people like this running the country.

They just cant think for themselves and group together as a defence mechanism.

Haystack - 09 Jul 2013 23:52 - 26946 of 81564

gf

I didn't go to a public school. I want to a Jesuit college grammar school. It was run on public school lines with masters wearing gowns.

goldfinger - 10 Jul 2013 01:57 - 26947 of 81564

Well your even worse than him, cynic whats your opinion on this whats your opinin on that whats your opinion etc, etc, for gods sake stand up on your own two feet both of you. Grow up.

Haystack - 10 Jul 2013 02:47 - 26948 of 81564

I see you are rambling again. PMQs should be entertaining this week with miliband on the run.

Haystack - 10 Jul 2013 02:51 - 26949 of 81564

YouGov’s latest survey for the Sunday Times was conducted as the arguments raged about Labour’s links with the trade unions and, in particular, Miliband’s spat with Len McCluskey, the leader of Unite, Britain’s biggest trade union. It found that:

Only 26% think he is doing well as Labour’s leader; 60% think he is doing badly – a nets score of minus 34.

A mere 18% of the public – and only 38% of Labour supporters – feel he ‘has provided an effective opposition to the government’

Haystack - 10 Jul 2013 02:54 - 26950 of 81564

Publishing its latest World Economic Outlook, the IMF said that Britain's economy would grow 0.9% this year, up by 0.3% since its last report in April when it downgraded the UK's forecasts. The IMF also predicted that the UK would go on to enjoy growth of 1.5% in 2014.

TANKER - 10 Jul 2013 07:21 - 26951 of 81564

gf its is families colours .

cynic - 10 Jul 2013 07:24 - 26952 of 81564

sticky - you really are very very silly at times, and this is one such ....... now be a good boy and go and take your medication old son, for you sure need it at the moment

Stan - 10 Jul 2013 07:51 - 26953 of 81564

First they laugh at you, then they fight you, then imply your ill.. then you win!

goldfinger - 10 Jul 2013 08:15 - 26954 of 81564

Cynic have you asked hays if you can speak to me this morning?.

Would be interesting to find out just how many e-mails pass through these two. Mind boggling I reckon.

Hays is always half cut anyway. Drinks far too much to be a reliable source, I always have to check his posts out to gurantee its the truth thats being told/posted.

You know what they say about publicans and off license holders, once in the family always in the family.

goldfinger - 10 Jul 2013 08:27 - 26955 of 81564

LOL, back to where we were before Union debate. Shows labour have got the backing of the british people, polls have changed far more accurrate these days with nothing much difference between the partys. Shame labour havent leaned to the left , if they had it would probably be a 16% overal gain.........

electionista ‏@electionista 58m
UK - YouGov/Sun poll: CON 31%, LAB 39%, LDEM 10%, UKIP 13%

Interestingly UKIP maintains its ground. The Torys are in sheer panic over this.

cynic - 10 Jul 2013 08:27 - 26956 of 81564

sticky - it really would be worth your while to look in a mirror and ask why so many think you are such a total ass ..... if you're honest with yourself (very unlikely), it just may give you cause to ponder on it

goldfinger - 10 Jul 2013 08:43 - 26957 of 81564

Cynic, people are wondering if you are somekind of mutation clone of Hays.

Dont lose your cool, like you usually do.

You give the impression that you are all inbred.

You even have the same character as Call Me Dave, all hot and flustered most of the time. BLUSTER BLUSTER BLUSTER.

skinny - 10 Jul 2013 08:47 - 26958 of 81564

Optical lattice atomic clock could 'redefine the second'

Scientists say they have found a more accurate way to measure time.

We currently use atomic clocks to count the seconds, but tests on an alternative atomic timekeeper have revealed that it is more precise.

The French researchers said the clocks, which are called optical lattice clocks, lost just one second every 300 million years.

cynic - 10 Jul 2013 08:54 - 26959 of 81564

oh dear oh dear ...... sticky, time to grow out of your stupid and childish playground bullying mentality ...... while you attempt that difficult task, i'll go for a long walk up in les alpilles ..... perhaps you should try a cold shower instead! :-)
