Melnibone - 17 Dec 2003 15:53 - 27 of 33

I've just watched three 5 min candles stop at 1074.5
on the S@P.

If they want it to break through then the boys are
going to have to manipulate the DOW higher to drag it up.

I wonder what they want to happen?

Melnibone.

Druid2 - 17 Dec 2003 16:06 - 28 of 33

Afternoon all. Late today as I have had problems in connecting. Never mind as my EZL,SHEL,LLOY & BARC longs have done well. ETL static. Would be grateful if anyone can comment on KGF as I am long (small) from 290 and price is now 277 !!!. Thinking of adding!!!???

Melnibone - 17 Dec 2003 16:14 - 29 of 33

Well, 20 minutes to the close and the S@P still
stuck up against 1074.5.

No point in spoiling a profitable day by taking new
overnight positions on a guess.

Will watch for where the US closes tonight and work
out tomorrows plan later on.

Just going to watch now and keep my pot safe.;-)

THU FTSE PP

R2 4385
R1 4369
PP 4351
S1 4336
S2 4318

Wed close above R1 after loosing 4.2pts in the auction! 2day ftse chart targeting 4385 (r2), brk of uptrend at 4350 back to 4330 imho!

Melnibone - 17 Dec 2003 18:54 - 31 of 33

S@P has been slowly cycling down since 1730 Hrs.
Ftse is already showing 4335 on D4F quote.

If the decline continues we should have a nice
sea of red to cherry pick from tomorrow morning.
Trouble is, we're only talking about 3 points
on the S@P at the moment, not a lot in the grand scheme of things.

If this happens we should at least visit S2 at 4318,
which is only a hop from the 60 Day EMA at 4310.

Might as well test it if we get that close. ;-)

Come on USA, you know you really want to do it,
so why fight it? :-)

Melnibone.

Crocodile - 17 Dec 2003 19:42 - 32 of 33

Better day today with longs on KESA paying off
Have a good evening
D.

Melnibone - 17 Dec 2003 21:01 - 33 of 33

Looks like a flattish to slightly up finish. :-(

The best I'm likely to get now is S1 at 4336, and
I doubt I'll even see that, the way this market
is behaving.

Off to watch the 'Crooked Man' on ITV.

See you in the morning.

Melnibone.
