No not behind a firewall of the company variety, just a standard norton

Stockbunny, re enable the firewall, your system is at risk. You have had no problems before, so firewall is unlikely to be the cause now.

stockbunny,
Don't know whether this has been suggsted before, but you could try installing the latest Java Plugin. Is this problem on Stockwatch only or does it affect other streaming services like trades?

J - thanks for your help - I've resolved the problem,well hopefully!
I have opted to hit the system restore on my computer and have turned
back time so to speak and everything is working beautifully!!!
(Fingers crossed whatever it was has now been put right)

JT,
I have made an astonishing discovery, after the test I co-operated with at the beginning of this thread, I have encountered a situation where streaming data (of sorts) is appearing at my machine, interested?
Regards
SC
