So several months have passed... Based on the success of last Summer's Event at Longcliffe G.C., a few of you have asked me to take over the reigns from PTH and organise another G0LF M0NEY-AM DAY again based in the MIDLANDS. This is fairEST to the majority coming from all over the UK! From initial feedback (reflecting on 2005 36-Hole hot mid-Summer's day!), the popular view for a 2006 Event has been agreed, as follows: -

* Tea/Coffee on arrival.
* 9 Holes (4BBB 3/4 Stab.) Comp.
* Sandwiches/Lunch.
** 18 Holes (MAIN INDIVIDUAL (FULL HANDICAP) STABLEFORD EVENT) with M-AM and Golfing Prizes for Winners, incl. "Nearest-to-the-Pin" on the 9th. Hole and "The-Longest-Drive" on the 18th. Hole.
* 3-Course Evening Dinner (full waitress service), incl. coffee & mints + Prize Presentation/Mic. Table.

(** ADDITIONAL PRIZES from our generous SPONSORS include: - 3 months worth of Shares Magazine sent to the homes of EACH COMPETITOR every week. The Overall Winner will get The Money-AM Annual Golf Challenge Cup to keep for good plus 1 year's worth of Money-AM Level 2 service worth 357.50 + Vat. The Runner-Up and Third Placed Winners will each get a medal to keep plus 6 months' level 2.)

For the golfers amongst you, MoneyAM is holding its annual Golf Day Event on Thursday 8th June 2006. This event, kindly organised by one of our users "markusantonius", will be taking place at the Horsley Lodge Golf Club, Belper, Derbyshire.

Entry fee for the day is 60 (payable in advance), which includes:

Markus , new format for the 9 holes ? ( now 9 )

Two women were playing golf. One teed off and watched in horror as her ball headed directly toward a foursome of men playing the next hole.

The ball hit one of the men. He immediately clasped his hands together at his groin, fell to the ground and rolled around in agony.

The woman rushed down to the man, and immediately began to apologise.

"Please allow me to help. I'm a physiotherapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you'd allow me," she told him.

"Oh, no, I'll be all right. I'll be fine in a few minutes," the man replied. He was in obvious agony, lying in the foetal position, still clasping his hands together at his groin.

At her persistence, however, he finally allowed her to help. She gently took his hands away and laid them to the side, loosened his pants and put her hands inside. She administered tender and artful massage for several long moments and asked, "How does that feel?"

"It feels great," he replied, "but my thumb still hurts like hell."

Fliper, Yes to potential new format - I have a few ideas for the morning 9-Hole Team Comp. - it all dep on final no. of entrants.

Chockie, Are you and Martini planning to tag along in June? I have a few old war wounds that could do with a gentle massage, if that's OK? I might be persuaded to lift the ban of female hackers, at least for the 1:30 hours in between rounds. :o)

Markus: Certainly interested but I am out of the country till 1st June. My handicap is 21 and am a member of Cathkin Braes. I will try to sort out something regarding the payment cheque getting sent to you as not possible to post anything here in Turkmenistan. Sounds like a good day planned!

Welcome home Peter. Thought you might have been allocated the Defence portfolio. See you've given yourself three weeks for serious practise. Keep away from the Shark, I suggest, as he only seeks to demoralise you - suggest we get him in a pincer movement; or what do they call that one high, one low tackle. Markus: My name is Rutherford not Rutherfood although I have been called a lot worse in the past so no problem. Regarding accomodation I would imagine I will need two nights but not made my mind up yet. What are the options regarding hotels (if any) available if you dont mind.
