If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

For information:
WINS appear to have just gone offline causing loads of price changes.
Presumably this is not a local MoneyAM problem

NEWS FLAGS
When are the news flags supposed to appear on stock watch.
I thought they are supposed to be live as in within a minute or less.
The majority appear delayed or do not appear untill you refresh the page.
(prices are live)
example today PET. read it on bulitin board first then it appered after I refrshed stock watch page. Why. Graeme.

Graeme - they've admitted newsflags are faulty now(only appearing on refresh) and I seem to remember it was about third in their priority action list.
Thanks to Jonathon for presenting the snagging list here, as that does actually show that our complaints and queries aren't just disappearing into cyberspace.
Ian - Any news on those 01:00 timestamps or are we still pretending they're overnight trades??
Also, is there a problem with historic data, as I've noticed several stocks in the 52 week low toplist that I'm certain aren't at 52week lows? Presumably the toplist doesn't log them until after open, so shouldn't be affected by MM opening order??

Dell.
Thanks, I haven,t seen the list for a while. Graeme.
ps. I prefered it before all the changes.I didn't have any problems with the old feed, I hope that any improvements far out way all the problems it caused by changing.

Graeme/Dell,
Yes we do have a problem with the news flags, which we are working to get resolved.
Dell,
The 1.00 trades have always been there, have always been late trades with a default setting of 1.00am overnight I have checked this with Mike, who has concurred with me.
With regard to the 52 week data can you supply me with any specific examples and I will take a look into this.

Ian - Thanks for your response but as I have mentioned before, trades that go through with an 01:00 timestamp on the L2 screen appear to have a sensible trade time on Stockwatch. Surely, that means one screen is wrong, whichever way you look at it.
Out of hours trades are supposed to be reported pre-open. These 01:00 trades are appearing throughout the day. Also, as I've mentioned before, trades that come through late from the LSE are given an "L" trade type flag, to show that they are reported late. Most of the 01:00 trades have an "O" flag, suggesting that they are being reported within normal timescales.
Apologies for boring everyone with this but it just doesn't figure...
As I can't call up yesterday's L2 screen, I'll have to post any examples where the timestamps conflict between L2 and stockwatch, when I spot one...
If you're sure that the 52wk toplists are using a full year of data, I'll make a note of any that look wrong to me, doublecheck and report them here if they are wrong.

Ian - I see proper "L" trades, and those 01:00:00 trades
Also, the UT closing is followed by the 01:00:00 echo. Remember?
Can't have both can we. Gut feel is that there is something being missed here.

Have been looking at more research tools on MAM (there are a lot to look at) and have noticed that the Percentage Gainers on the Customisable Market Scan appear to have the dot in the wrong place - so EZJ has today put on 1.6% (or similar) instead of 16%.
The site is very good value for money; the new Heatmaps Sector is excellent, and the Streaming news also.
