Stockbunny - taking 5 min break. Would love to, but as soon as the market closes I have rush off to do a couple of hours work this evening. Then the same all day tommorrow. But I do have a formal function to attend (which I believe after 11pm, is followed by drinking games like, draughts, where the draughts are glasses of port!). I shall relax then!

Little Woman - we are up 20p or so on UNLVR since purchase about 2 weeks back I think it was- ahh help can't remember the epic!! Unilever - it's doing 'good' - dividend due 1st December.

Stockbunny I sold part of the ULVR holding the day after the div due, as I needed to release some cash - but the rest is still there and my investment club put some long term money away (at a really good price before going ex div). So overall I'm happy.

I'm not personally related to any barrels so can't be offended by barrel jokes from that perspective, but as to other 'offence angles' this is a toughie...
Guess it's a case of If in doubt, maybe it's best passed over than shared, even the greatest joke can fall flat in the wrong company....

There's nothing quite like sleeping all night in the cafe cosy chair with the cat perched on your lap. I must do it again some time, now for a slap up full English breakfast. CHEF, PUT THE KETTLE ON. (Sorry for shouting, but he's a little deaf).

I thought I went to the "gents" when I came into the Cafe but With all the Chivas in me I think it was the StockRoom and The Chef nLocked me in. So beware of any Lager looking Teas to start with.!!!
Regarding the Dow - I came out bruised biut not beaten as walked away with 800 notes _ reckoned it will rally at the end - but the b52 got hit by a SAM and went down like astone.
What do you reckon is going to happen in overnight trading tonight and with the Jap market open and their elections on??

Anyway this is cafe - So teas and Full english for all the early birds - on my tab.
