How to profit from Betting Exchanges (BEX)

How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?

Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

scrip - sung to the tune as you would know "harry and jim - red and white" was echoing round highbury

Have you seen the stats on the game, Arsenal had over 80% possession

My earlier comment "Arsenal look a bit skinny" - shows how much i know lol

I saw that, had do to a double take on that as well. I could believe a match could be so one sided.

i know im biased but some of the football was sublime - most of the goals the ball was passed into the net at the end of a move numbering several passes - and to think henry didnt score

Evening Fundy,

Picked up your post regarding joining John and yourself at Haydock sometime. I'm not really into horses so not been to a race meeting before but looking forward to giving it a go. Will have to wait till after mid June as with my 1st wedding anniversary in 2 weeks time it won't go down too well with the Mrs if I'm having a knee's up with betfair mates!

Bakko

no probs about when - john and i have been trying to get to haydock together for at least 6 months probably more - if you go the aforementioned post it has the links to all the racing dates for the year at haydock.

Consider this - to date over the years 43 of the 108 1st leg football league play-off matches have ended as draws - 40% (a 6/4 fair bet). There is no reason to think this year will be any different as there seem to be a number of tight matches. Bookies are offering 9/4 or 11/5 the draw for each match. Free money?
