Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I am afraid that no one cares about Lynton Crosby apart from crazy lefty activists like gf. Hardly anyone knows who he is. He does seem to be doing a great job. He worked for Boris when he was running for Mayor.

It's been such a relief for a few days not to have gf posting on this thread and I had hoped, since he said his younger brother was visiting on holiday, that he might have been thrown in the nearest river, but sadly it hasn't happened yet. I live in hope. :-)

NHS Direct was set up in 1998 under Labour. 111 is just a change from the 0845 plus area code that was used. A third of the system is still run by NHS Direct.

111 terrible problems. And how so proud Call Me Dave was of the system HIS government pioneered. But we have the real facts.........its useless.

Lynton Crosby the new MR BIGGER of the Tory Party........
"Downing Street's claims that lobbying row aide Lynton Crosby does not meddle with Government policies have been blown out of the water by an ally of David Cameron.
No10 had tried to brush off questions about the Australian adviser's conflict of interests by insisting he only helps with "strategy".
But Tory MP Nick Boles admitted that politicians have to win Mr Crosby's backing for their pet schemes"

This is the Mirror's article about Cameron's holiday this summer.
The article attacks Cameron for holidaying when some people cannot afford a holiday. The last sentence is thrown in casually
"Labour leader Ed Miliband is taking a holiday to France with his family during Parliament’s long summer recess."
.....
Something very fishy is going on...
While most people are struggling to make ends meet, David Cameron is snapped enjoying ANOTHER foreign holiday yesterday.
Weeks after their chillaxing break in sun-kissed Ibiza, the PM and wife Samantha lazed in the sun on a family break in Portugal.
They bought squid from a market stall as they strolled around the city of Aljezur on the stunning Algarve.
And after he has topped up his tan on the Continent, the PM will return to Britain for two more summer breaks – one to Cornwall and the other to Scotland – taking the total to four.
The sight of the Tory swanning around in his shorts sparked fury yesterday.
Labour MP Grahame Morris said the fact the Camerons flew from Britain courtesy of budget airline easyJet “won’t fool anyone”.
Mr Morris added: “It’s more easy street than easyJet for our chillaxing Prime Minister.
“He might try to adopt the common touch, but it is wearing thin for millions of ordinary Britons who can’t afford to get away, who live in dread of their next gas bill or who are afraid of losing their low paid jobs.”
He said the PM was a “posh toff who is only happy hob-nobbing with the rich and the powerful, while rubbing the noses of working people in the mud”.
Labour MP Steve McCabe said many hard-working Britons “would be lucky” to go on even one holiday. He added: “It’s another sign of how out of touch this Tory Government is.”
The PM was also blasted for deciding to take a break at the same time as Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, who is having two summer holidays, one in Spain and the other in France.
Foreign Secretary William Hague and Home Secretary Theresa May will run the country in their absence. But Downing Street insisted that the PM will remain in charge no matter where he and his family go on holiday.
Mr Morris was not convinced, saying: “It comes at a time when Britain is still in deep recession, the NHS is under full frontal attack and the welfare state is being cut to the bone.
“It seems extraordinary the pair of them have the brass neck to fly off on holiday at the same time.”
Mr Cameron, who is away with his three children, was also slated in June during his week-long stay in Ibiza.
Days after soldier Lee Rigby’s horrific murder in Woolwich, South East London, the PM was pictured relaxing on the holiday island.
Now the Tory is sunning himself again a week after the beginning of Parliament’s six-week summer break.
For security reasons, Downing Street advisers would not disclose exactly where the Camerons will stay in Cornwall next month.
It is believed the PM will travel around Scotland on the last leg of his summer holidays.
Part of the trip is expected to be taken up by some campaigning ahead of the independence referendum next year. The Scottish leg of the summer jaunt will also include an official visit traditionally made by PMs to see the Queen at Balmoral.

I remember the Riots that swept the country 2 years ago and Cameron was again on holiday.
In fact it took him until day 4 of the riots when they were over to get back to Britain . By this time we all know how many places , towns were smashed up.
Just 1 top Tory was in place during the riots, I remember the Mirror making headlines with this....... i think it was William Hague........and he was useless.
It was the RAIN that stopped the riots.
Little wonder the Tories need Lynton Crosby as their leader.

Happiness index shows 'small improvement' in 2013, ONS says
A UK-wide well-being survey has found "small improvements" in people's happiness over the year.
The proportion of people rating their life satisfaction as seven or more out of 10 rose from 75.9% to 77.0%, the Office for National Statistics said.
