MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Thats what MDX board are trying to work out too bert ... how you can get them out of the sh*t too.

Big Al - 16 Sep 2008 13:34 - 2773 of 8631

shat??? ;-))

It's going to get worse yet. Buy companies with solid, tangible assets and pay dividends or hold cash. The past year and into the future is not the time for dreams.

Dil - 16 Sep 2008 13:49 - 2774 of 8631

tabby's quiet .... been a long time walking the dog

littlebert2 - 16 Sep 2008 14:13 - 2775 of 8631

You mean like Utilities Al? If you're ever unfortunate enough to see how they operate, you'd laugh to prevent crying ..... there'd never be another p!ss up in the brewing industry if Utilities boards ran them :-) It always amuses me that they are seen as the 'comfortable, safe havens for investment...' - good job pension companies can't invest in local councils !!!

Whoops Dil, just reminded me - that's why me hound is battering the back door down... he hasn't been out to terrorise the neighbourhood today!

Big Al - 17 Sep 2008 14:05 - 2776 of 8631

Bert - nope. I did also add to hold cash if there is nothing suitable about. I't about picking the right time. ;-))

It would be interesting to see what would happen if MDX did need cash. The chances of there being anything other than a hugely discounted rights issue are very remote, if not impossible. That is if more cash is required of course.

On an overall outlook you'd have to say MDX has been a complete waste of an investment in a 4-5 year bull market (when they floated).

;-)

Big Al - 17 Sep 2008 16:07 - 2777 of 8631

Where are all the bulls?

;-0

Big Al - 18 Sep 2008 09:13 - 2778 of 8631

This place is suspiciously quiet. ;-0

Dil - 18 Sep 2008 09:43 - 2779 of 8631

First scotty does a runner and now tabby !

No doubt there will be other mugs to take their place .

littlebert2 - 18 Sep 2008 09:51 - 2780 of 8631

IMHO Wont need a cash call as it's being set up to be split up and sold!

Big Al - 18 Sep 2008 10:11 - 2781 of 8631

"Cheaply"?

littlebert2 - 18 Sep 2008 10:26 - 2782 of 8631

In comparison to what it would've fetched earlier in the year, Yep! MDX would by no means be the first BOD to turn down an approach, then end up accepting a lower offer when markets looked unfavourably on their decision .....

There is probably 150p to be had from a break-up, so, along with associated costs, there's a profit in any bid under 1 .... and right now, well, what do you think would happen if a 50p bid came in?

What I think is holding off a bid right now is, do potential bidders think MDX will fall lower, and if they wait long enough, will it collapse completely and be easy pickings.... however, if your plan is to then sell off the parts of that company, it's easier (and looks better) if you are selling a part of a thriving company than carving up the remnants of a train wreck......

Big Al - 18 Sep 2008 12:00 - 2783 of 8631

Dunno how you figure that Bert. 150p looks massively overvalued in this market.

littlebert2 - 18 Sep 2008 12:30 - 2784 of 8631

As a whole, yes, but broken in parts, the product ranges alone should fetch that from larger companies which only want certain lines without the others ...... view MDX as a car dealers with a Merc, a BM, a Volvo, a Ford, and a Skoda ..... together they've got five cars and could, on a good day, get 90k as a job lot .... individually, and with the right marketing/sales they've got a 50k car, a 40k car, a 30k car, a 20k car, and a 15k car .....

Treblewide - 18 Sep 2008 12:39 - 2785 of 8631

brilliant

Big Al - 18 Sep 2008 13:07 - 2786 of 8631

It always assumes people want the cars rather than sitting tight, doesn't it?

I'm amazed there's no input from the bulls here. Us bears didn't go away on the days it looked like we might be wrong. What's more we sat and took the dogs abuse whilst maintaining our position.

Dil - 18 Sep 2008 13:23 - 2787 of 8631

Looks more like a scrap yard to me bert :-)

littlebert2 - 18 Sep 2008 15:49 - 2788 of 8631

There's money in scrap right now ;-)

Big Al - 18 Sep 2008 15:59 - 2789 of 8631

............... but not a lot. ;-))

Dil - 18 Sep 2008 16:01 - 2790 of 8631

... and someones already knicked the engine and wheels.

Big Al - 18 Sep 2008 21:52 - 2791 of 8631

At least this lot aren't in the "financials" sector. ;-)))
