you are joking of course! .... if not, then just plain nuts!!
if you insist on buying just before London close, then common sense dictates that you buy ADRs as at least those can be monitored and bought/sold during NY hours

nk ..... i sincerly hope you did not buy before the close ..... if you did, you have assuredly done yourself some nasty damage, as tomorrow's opening will show

The cheapest you could go long last night was around 134p.
ATM showing bid price of 132p.
Care to explain?

in any case, as i have always said of this share, the only (relatively) safe way of dealing is in London when that market is open and then close that position and work with same in in ADRs when NY is open ...... ADRs were hammered last night and finished -$2.52 at $3.47 ..... in fact, i am staggered that the opening London price is as firm as it is

dear oh dear. If you don't understand the basics you shouldn't really be trading.
1) Allowing for your dealing costs and stamp duty you would be lucky to be breaking even.
2) Whatever the offer price is, the bid price is lower and with this share (although not at this precise moment) the % difference is high. Currently showing bid of 134p

genuine live price is 134.25 - 136, and furthermore, has been 139 mid at best today ..... IG's prices are accurate though when things are volatile and/or there is a wide spread, phoning and getting the boys to deal through the market can prove better.

Point is, we are up and should close today higher, above 160p with 2 possible next week.
Remember the golden Rule, buy low and sell higher!!!

Good luck to you but me thinks no.
At the end of the day you are going to be disappointed.
This is going down. The MM's are refusing to increase the price over the slight rebound during the past hour. All they are doing is increasing the spread so that you can't sell for a profit. Unless the SM really rallies today which is possible, then mid am - mid pm this will fall, possibly like a stone.

139 - 139.5 ..... and of course totally brilliant to have bought at yesterday's bottom ...... and you are still a total arsehole as you have no control whatsoever when london is closed but ny is trading
13:55
