Welcome to CONCHA PLC (formerly Hot Tuna (International) PLC.

The stated aims of CONCHA PLC are to evaluate and invest in a broad range of
technology, media, well being and related industries.

Company History

Hot Tuna was born in Australia in the summer of 1969 to serve the demands of sojourning surfers, the product of a dedicated surfers passion fueled by the skill of his fashion designer wife. Spreading on the bodies and boards of watermen through coastal locales in the South Pacific, the brand quickly burgeoned globally, becoming an influential leader in the nascent surf industry and one of the progenitors of the neon era of surf in the '80s. Through the brands storied history, a long list of notables, in and out of the water, have waved the Hot Tuna banner at one time or another in their careers, including pro surfers such as Richie Lovett, Robbie Page, Beau Emerton and Drew Courtney.

In September 2005, Hot Tuna (International) PLC purchased the Hot Tuna brand from a consortium of investors and listed it on AIM, a division of the London Stock Exchange.

In the interest of managing its brand profile and distribution globally, the public Company began a rapid acquisition of its licensed interests around the world. Talented designers and key management with apparel business expertise from Quiksilver, ONeill, Ocean Pacific, Rip Curl and Perry Ellis International, among others, were recruited to drive the process in the key markets of the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. In July 2006, entrepreneur and fashion icon Elle Macpherson, who grew-up with the brand in Australia, was appointed as an executive director of Hot Tuna (International) PLC, her interests focused on design and distribution issues, as well as overall youth fashion and market insight. The Company's name change to Concha Plc (AIM Ticker: CHA) will become effective and the Company will begin trading under its new name from 8:00 a.m. on 7 February 2012.

mentor - i know you're both a fan of this stock and also like to trade fast and on tiny movements, but i don't know what this other chap is getting so excited about, as the 1 year chart below is scarcely inspirational ...... i confess he reads more like am ardent ramper (my goodness i hate that word!)

Interesting stuff.

If CHA is related to Fansz as are they are saying, CHA might be worth several pounds :)

re- FRANSZ

Interesting they say São Paulo and Leeds as a location - points to Works Ltd - which Concha owns 30%.

5.225p +0.25p

good trades earlier on but the share price movement was not till 11am after a 280K buy and since keeps moving higher with some strange 150K trades appearing on the ticker though they are at sell price

mentor - 02 Nov 2015 10:22 - 283 of 358

There is some nibbling on the shares today, so a positive start of the week after some bizarre movement on the price and trades last week...........

..........The nibbling has gone into larger trades and share price appreciation well done

mentor - 04 Nov 2015 09:56 - 284 of 358

Large spread for the last few days 4.70 v 5.15p

It seems WINS has decided that it needs stock on their book and upped the bid today.
yesterday though the bid was at 4.70p but they were paying 4.925p for any selling, so yes MMs are playing games with the spread, not representing the real price paid.
again there is some interest on the shares today and the large sells of last week so far are gone.

mentor - 04 Nov 2015 16:06 - 285 of 358

going places now 5.375p +0.45p

But still keeping the spread large, some good large trades

The 2X300K trades this morning that they seem sells are a "Roll over " the same amount a few second later and the small price difference from selling and buying back

mentor - 09 Nov 2015 15:43 - 286 of 358

Further movement up and reaching new high lately on the current stage of recovery

mentor - 10 Nov 2015 09:27 - 287 of 358

moving along nicely now 5.65p +0.325p

mentor - 10 Nov 2015 12:51 - 288 of 358

Took advantage of the good rise today to sell @ 5.75p, it was well over the Upper Bollinger Band

13.85% gain on 4 weeks

mentor - 26 Nov 2015 13:01 - 289 of 358

Bought back at 5p and then 5.05p

Looking at price movement for the last 3 days and I see prices at around 5p gets support on the chart with buyers returning after the recent retracement

spread 4.90 v 5.05p

Charting TA

Last Pattern: BULLISH ENGULFING ( a hammer yesterday, a Doji today )

This is an important bottom reversal signal. If tomorrow share price goes over this point will be a BUY signal

Last year at much the same time the share price drop from 7.50p to 4p and then bounce back

My comments at other places......

Today 10:19 - Price: 3.175
Are the sells over?
10 minutes without any sell, that is a long time today!

--------
Today 10:56
Looks like the large buys are now taking over the ticker.
someone has got rid of many this morning, so it was a good opportunity for others to top up, and by the look of it I was not the only one filling my boots

-------------
7 Dec'15 - 10:59
There was a large mark down on the shares earlier, as it seems someone lost the bottle an got rid of a large amount of shares, since then the buyers are taking over and starting to bounce back

------------
re - RE: Are the sells over?Today 11:22

not any longer small spread?,
looks like MMs run out of cheap shares to sell so back to large spread

cynic - 07 Dec 2015 14:00 - 295 of 358

always the problem with twiddly stocks

mentor - 08 Dec 2015 10:21 - 296 of 358

Another top up this morning

And it looks good as MMs are moving prices up fast, they are still keeping the spread large anyway, but one can buy well on the middle price

mentor - 09 Dec 2015 09:34 - 297 of 358

3.90p +0.30p

Is today the beautiful day?

Tweet by Chris Akers Last Monday as the Share price had a large drop
“Today is difficult, tomorrow is more difficult, but the day after tomorrow is beautiful,”.
