ADVFN named Britain's Best Investment Website fourth year running
- 'highly dynamic website' wins coveted award as voted for by UK investors -
ADVFN (www.advfn.com) has once again taken first place in the prestigious Investors Chronicle Investment Awards.
ADVFN has received the 2006 award for Best Investment Website, a category which focuses on the quality of information, research, data flows and analytical tools provided by investment websites, for the fourth consecutive year.
Europe's number one stocks and shares Website won the award based on a survey of Investors Chronicle readers. ADVFN was commended for its free service, which offers a comprehensive set of analytics including quotes, charts, news, financials, Forex and futures and options, and for its range of 'premium products' including its leading edge Level 2 service.
"We have won the Best Investment Website accolade four years running, highlighting how ADVFN remains at the forefront for providing cutting edge tools and data for private investors. Our continual site developments and addition of financial information ensure that we remain the number one destination for the investment community," said Clem Chambers, CEO of ADVFN. "These awards are especially important to us as they are voted for by the investors themselves. We look forward to bringing even more to the site in 2007," he continued.

What a loon you are maestro. The acquisitions were after the end of the financial year being discussed. The costs last year were just what you said, wages, with the odd piece of computer equipment and a lot of flying to Japan and South America.

knobhead????why thank you....... the acquisition costs are irrelevant however and should not be viewed as anything to do with operations.......even if you take out the cost of the acquisitions they would still not have made a profit and since the acquisitions seem to be loss making add their combined losses into next year and they will guess what still make a loss......
so if nothung changes they go bust in 18 months or so unless they raise more cash so as far strong buy....all the best

Unless by 'acquisitions' you meant fotothing and Equity Development of course. I was only counting the ones likely to be of any realistic help!
