Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

My terminals, which I have just opened, still have yesterday's streaming charts. Once this week they had refreshed, but not today. It means refreshing all after 8am - very annoying if I'm trying to keep a keen eye on some shares at the open. I doubt it's my computer. Sorry to have to mention it again.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 18 Nov 2004 07:38 - 2806 of 7315

Maggot,

Please rest assured that this is not at your end, and has been reported as a bug - I apologies for the inconvenience that this is causing, but it we are working to reosolve this and also rest assured that as soon as this is resolved I will let you know.

Ian - there is an AFX on LLOY but no N flag on my stockwatch. Clicking on the epic does bring up a page where the N flag does appear.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 18 Nov 2004 15:58 - 2808 of 7315

kernow,

This is down to a problem we are trying to resolve where news flags aren't being displayed on Stockwatch - we will hopefully have thsi resolved soon, but please accept my apologies in the meantime,

Regards

Ian

Not sure if this is a bug, and it certainly isn't an enhancement, but not sure where else to post this.

Twice now, when I've clicked on 'Return to list' at the end of a thread, I've had a large pop-up ad for Reuters appear.

I don't mind the ads that appear on the home page, because they're small, unobtrusive, and I'm expecting them. But this large and unexpected Reuters ad I don't like :(

Would appreciate your advice on what's going on.

maddoctor - 21 Nov 2004 11:14 - 2810 of 7315

Ian , agree with above about the large popup , thought my computer had been highjacked and closed the reuters ad which took me back to my desktop. No good mate!

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 21 Nov 2004 12:15 - 2811 of 7315

Piptrader,

Reuters have chosen to advertise with us and that is the style of ad they wanted us to have on our site.

Sorry :(

I cannot access any watch list... I just get a white bit where the list should be - the rest of the page is ok. When I go to 'edit this watch list' all is revealed and I know what is there - is this being worked on this weekend?

SM:

From a brief bit of fiddling around here, it looks like the Streaming Java Applet isn't loading. I'll try to get hold of Jon . . .

Meanwhile, you can see Friday's close if you click on "Turn Streaming Off"

supermum - 21 Nov 2004 13:33 - 2814 of 7315

MM - thanks - I can get it with streaming off... hope its ok for tomorrow - I hate using the monitor from across the road!

MightyMicro - 21 Nov 2004 16:18 - 2816 of 7315

Mega: Thanks -- nothing I can do from here, unfortunately, other than alert the redoubtable TullettJ to the problem.

Cheers

Thank you kind sir :-)

IanT(MoneyAM) - 22 Nov 2004 07:32 - 2818 of 7315

Ian - just a minor complaint but I find the new format/colour scheme for the top lists (I've noticed it on top 30 losers and I presume others have also changed) much less readable than the old version.

Why fix it, if it ain't broke??

How about something more useful, like variable font sizes and trade type column for stockwatch??

P.S. Any idea of when the News flag bug on stockwatch is likely to get a fix?
