Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

but "-anker", apart from all the other crap you keep writing, you have been telling us all of late how wonderful the labour party was and that you and your family - thought your children were now grown-up and had minds of their own, but seemingly not - were now switching from pie-in-the-sky ukip to vote for grommit and his crew

cynic you idiot I have never said the lab is good I hate the party it destroyed the uk with their lies on immigration bringing in the scum for votes.
tony blair should be hung he is a parasite a evil shit
I am a tory like all my family .but we are now ashamed of the party telling lies on IMMIGRATION .
all illegal immigrants must be deported even if we have to pay to remove the scum
they are raping the uk
if the party wants our votes then start deporting them now in their thousands
and if the libs do not like it call an election and let the people vote on the issue

The little "tinker" is one of Hays and your fellow barmy army followers.
Just bent over a little further than Redwood and Cash.

Heard a quote the other day that "Cameron was only a half elected PM".
Suppose he was stunted by being separated from his mum and sent to Eton.
Realise why this present cabinet relates only to a small peculiar portion of the public.

Hays,
You are getting flakier and flakier.
I read the membership of the of the tories is down from heydays of 3 million to just over 100,0000. (Still going down and 2 years to the next election.)
Good old Wavey Davey.
Pity about the attempt by the Honourable Party to dip into the old lady's handbag and getting their fingers burnt.
I wonder if the solicitor concerned was a tory party member who wanted some influence?

"Douglas Carswell, an MP pressing for fundamental overhaul of the party’s operation, said he would not be surprised if membership was now “south of 100,000”. Paul Goodman, the editor of the ConservativeHome website, said his “guesstimate” was that membership was between 100,000 and 130,000. Numbers are thought to have halved since David Cameron became leader."

You seem to have picked a lost leader.

Theresa May accused of covering up parts of border controls report
Redaction of parts of report into controls between France and UK prompts claims of home secretary hiding 'her own failings'

The home secretary, Theresa May, has been accused of a cover-up after she used legal powers to keep parts of a critical inspection of UK border controls secret.
Fifteen sections of the report into controls between France and the UK have been redacted – including part of a passage revealing that staff and managers fear resources in Calais are stretched – for national security reasons.
But politicians and campaigners have accused May of hiding "her own failings" exposed in the report by John Vine, chief inspector of borders and immigration.

All political parties have falling membership. If it wasn't for the unions signing up members to the Labour party they would have almost no members.

fred lets be clear the labour party is only for the people who want something for nothing and they are only labour MPs because that is the only way they can become a MP .
the uk want needs a government to make people work not sleep all day and seating
outside pubs and betting shops . after 6 weeks unemployed they should then be sent to the local council or environment to clean up the country for their benefits or stop their benefits . that is the way forward .not let them do nothing

Tinker,
If what you say is true then the majority of punters on this board would have joined the labour party.
------------
As far as the last remark is concerned, previously I suggested that those who were unemployed and fit and drawing on "social security" could be expected to do something for "society" in form of "social or environmental" work for periods of 6-8 weeks at a time.
While doing that work they could earn 10% more than as unemployed and return to normal unemployment rates when the period of "forced" employment comes to an end, returning to the unemployment "role" at the previous rate.
If they refused "reasonable" period employment then they could receive a reduction in payments of 10% on each occasion they refuse to take part.
Might have tidy streets and parks and respect for society at the end of the period.
Difficult to implement, but may be feasible.
----===-----
Periods of retraining may be introduced if at the end of the first two cycles of "social" work had not enabled them to find "work".
===================
But the cartoon does remind me of much of the current tory party thinking.
