Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Nice post Eric. I spoke to the Finance Director at both the AGM and EGM. He said that contract profits will be in in 2006, under the new accounting procedures and the effects will be cumulative. Like Nitefly, I'm in for the long haul, but I do believe there will be a slow but steady move up with the share price now.

That was helpful comment from your meeting with FD. Confirms that CYH would be profitable now if they hadn't made the mess up with switching accounting polocies and the sp would be much higher.

nitefly

I don't see that much additional risk with CFDs as opposed to spreadbetting where you can lose your principle. Typically, with AIM shares you have a 4:1 multiple. The key thing is to choose a share with limited downside: my holdings in NLR (though I ahve a stop-loss there), SEO, YOO and FDI I put in that category. Apart from the gearing, another key factor is that you can reinvest the margin without closing the CFD, thus spreading the risk. Do contact me via e-mail if you want to fill in details.

In the meantime I am quite happy with 3.5p in the day......just so long as it holds this time.........been here before too often ........ ;o\

Nitefly - 14 Feb 2005 21:44 - 2831 of 3104

eric

For the time being I am pretty much over loaded and really need to pull some out of here. I have allowed myself to concentrate on too few companies and now find myself locked in. This is the first time I have been in this position and one I intend to rectify, pretty soon. I have missed so many opportunities over the last 12 mths and made a couple of silly mistakes. Had I not allowed this to happen, would have most likely been well ahead of my current position. I came out of RTD to top these up ...ROFL but hey, I'm still ahead overall;)

---

Well Douggie, it seems to be holding so far this last week or so, let's hope for more announcements. It would be nice to see some volume - Onwards and upwards eh!

Well it was the well worn path is being followed again ;-\

EWRobson - 16 Feb 2005 21:18 - 2833 of 3104

Nitefly

Sorry to be slow responding but been occupied elsewhere more urgent. As Douggie says in another context, its a well-worn path. Been there, done that, GTTS! I think it depends what % of the portfolio they are. My holding is 10% of my portfolio (without the CFDs - which can't trade CYH in). If its not 10%, is it worth holding? If its more than 10%, then there needs to be a good reason. I can't see CYH moving that quickly unless the FD or analyst is much more open about the impact of the change in accouning policies. If you're not expecting anything soon, reduce the holding (if too large) chase the opportunities elsewhere and come back when there is real sign of significant movement. Sorry if this is teaching grandma..!

Douggie - 23 Feb 2005 09:02 - 2835 of 3104

Mourning All......... ;-/

chrissie we are in desperate need of your 2nd 'major contract' news!!!

and lots more if ever to see back to even money ;o\

chrissie - 23 Feb 2005 20:24 - 2836 of 3104

2nd contract will be announced soon!

triangle - 24 Feb 2005 16:24 - 2837 of 3104

Yes chrissie, then there will be another after that, then a nice and regular stream of contract wins continueing. (same with every other company, because thats how they all work)

Why dont you cut the crap, and instead of posting your usual nonsense, try posting what it will be, and when for a change.

Douggie - 24 Feb 2005 16:42 - 2838 of 3104

X/finger chrissie UP 2.5p today :o)

best not get too excited

optomistic - 24 Feb 2005 19:58 - 2839 of 3104

That's right Douggie, don't get too excitied!!

Douggie - 25 Feb 2005 10:16 - 2840 of 3104

Ooooooooooppppppss sorry I droped you in that abuse chrissie ;-/

triangle seems to have no sense of humour perhapse with those 3 pointy bits not sure which way is up allways got a solid base tho, so maybe we should take him/her seriously ;-\

optomistic - 25 Feb 2005 10:25 - 2841 of 3104

Douggie I would not wish to be abusive with anyone on these threads but perhaps it would be wise to not place too much importance on Chrissie's predictions, after all she has not been too accurate with CYH in the past.

MillionDollarMan - 25 Feb 2005 11:33 - 2842 of 3104

Rely on only your own predictions!

You choose whether you listen to others!

Frankly, I am in here because I believe the value will return to a good price and not because Chrissie says so.

I know people are on a loss (aren't we all?) but lighten up!

Douggie - 25 Feb 2005 18:20 - 2843 of 3104

opto it is triangle I am having a gentle tongue in cheek go at not you.

I provoked chrissie into making a response, I don't take too much store by her
predictions I hope she know that, She knows better than any of us how wrong she was 12mts ago she had a great deal invested here I suspect she still has.

I am well aware that my input is tongue in cheek banter to keep site alive relieve monotony of where this share stands and hpe to get in response some tit bit of info.

I read too many posts around the BBs where people get into awfull slanging matches, I want NO part of anything like that!!

perhaps best if I just look and try to learn

I do believe in time we will see the sp rise ( I do hope so I have a lot of cash I have left here far too long but 'till such tine as I must sell I will hold and hope )

nice to see another little tic up today :o)

optomistic - 25 Feb 2005 19:24 - 2844 of 3104

Douggie, I never thought that you were having a go a me. As to our investment I am sure I have a much smaller position than you in CYH (mine was a buy on the hope of a quick gain with some spare cash when the price was weak)I am still showing a loss!! If I was in deep I would consider selling part of my holding and reinvesting elsewhere to recoup some of my losses, my view of course but it could be somewhile before CYH return to former 'glory'.
Change of subject: Good flying weather just around the corner perhaps we may meet one Thursday at Burn we would be able to have a chat even if you did not wish to fly.
