Jeff …he’s run three times in total on soft ground.. two of them over 15f and won on each occasion…last years great fourth place was on good to soft….probably would have won in more testing conditions….if it cuts up today…and being the sixth race on the cards…that is very possible…it will be far more help to us than others!

Good Morning puntersthe Saturday value bets excite me today.I have three cracking selections at big prices that I feel sure will give you more than a run for your money!.Ascot 1-45 the Group 3 sprint is contested by 14 runners with half those facing each other again within a fortnight..on that occasion Sir Gerry came out top withPrime DefenderAssertiveIntrepid JackDark MissileBalthazaars Giftand Zidane behind.I think this is the form of the race and pick Dark Missile to come out on topI have run the VT through around twenty times to spotlight each runner and I am of the opinion Dark Missile ran the best race without conditions to suitthe selection run his race on the far side with one other horseLesson In Humility who had previously won three and come second on his last five racesDark Missile was cantering over all his rivals with a furlong to go but the steady early pace gave those with the best turn of foot an edge. I will stick my neck out and say if this is run at a pillar to post gallop the selection will winif not?Sir Gerry and Intrepid Jack will come and pick him off latewith 14/1 best price a real value bet!.my tissue:- 11/4 Sir Gerry8/1 Dark Missile 10/1 Intrepid Jack
My next selection is Sir Mark Prescotts Buddhist MonkAscot 2-20...this horse is a complete bin case and should have been named Jack the Rippersevere attitude problemhangs leftflashes tailcarries head highand dont like being told what to dohaving said thatI love him!he has his own way of runningdont be dismayed if he sits in last placehe does what he wants early onbut his record is good and he has undoubtedly got talentonly been out of the first two in seven racesbig step up though Off this bottom weight 12/1 looks very inviting!
To make up the treble I go to Musselburgh and the 3-15...again the selection Aegean Dancer is bottom weightThis horse has some good form that nicely ties in with other runnersat these weightsTom Eaves has presumably the chance to ride Brian Smarts other more fancied runner Fathom Fivebut chooses the one I likeAlthough a bad draw the selection will be up with the pace and many of the fancied front runners are also high and will come across Aegean has only run at the track once before resulting in success in a 17 runner class 2 handicap25/1 best priceneeds run of the race!

Good afternoon punters.nothing much happening today..so let me try and find a good little e/w punt at rewarding odds.. Brighton 3-05 is a nice little handicap with mostly exposed runnersI like Cosmic Destinythis 6yo sprinter has a tremendous track record at Brighton over the last couple of season and never seems to run a bad race therenine runs over the last two campaigns has produced form figures that read 2 wins1 second3 thirds2 fourthswith only two unplacedlet us take this a step furtherwith todays good/soft conditions only being the same on two prior runs his form improves to 1 win and 1 third from two.The trainer Ed Vaughan is in reasonable form and the Trainer/Jockey combination has produced two placed from two runs in the last twelve daysHis last run is the reason we are getting a good price today.13/18 in a Newmarket race ridden by the inexperienced Andrea Atzeniand the horse pulled far to hard for the slightly weaker Jockeybest odds around are 12/1 and you should get a good run for your moneyI have traded a little higher on Betfair.but think the price will still shrink?
