Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

It is interesting to me that the countries which have Nuclear weapons are sane and the countries which wish to have the weapons are crazy.

I seems a little like the patients in the Asylum saying the doctors are mad.

Anybody know what is the predominant direction of the air currents in the Middle East?

patshere - 18 Jun 2010 09:42 - 2847 of 6906

'One nuclear device, anywhere in that area,
would make all the area from Egypt to Lebanon,
and beyond, uninhabitable for many years.
No winners, many losers.'

When you have 'nothing' to lose then why not defy your devil[Israel].

"Greg, don't you think it's time you found a life outside of this BB and stopped your incessant posting? You've bored the arse of me now and quite frankly you've proven om many occasions you're just a self-opinated wind bag with no real understanding of any issue or experience in the real world. You and Fred make a fine pair, you should get married, I'm sure you'd both live happily ever after."

Well said !

I cannot understand why the Palestines allow Hamas to provide Israel with the excuse to kill and blockade. If you remove Israels so called 'reasons' to blockade gaza{Hamas missiles} then you leave Israel without any justification to continue their illegal acts.
It seem that Hamas have alternative motives other than the welfare and peaceful existence of the Palestine people.

cynic - 18 Jun 2010 10:44 - 2850 of 6906

because the general populace on both sides is manipulated by politicos often from outside .... you also naively believe that the gov't of israel and leaders of hamas and hezbollah care two hoots about the plight of the innocent gaza residents

Haystack - 18 Jun 2010 10:59 - 2851 of 6906

I think that Hamas do care. Israel started the blockade because the residents of Gaza democratically elected Hamas as their government. Israel thought that by strangling Gaza of imports it would turn the people against Hamas. The exact opposite has happened as most observers thought at the time. If an election were held now, Hamas would return with a landslide. Since the election of Hamas and the current very right wing Israel governemnt you have the worst combination of adversaries.

The two state system is not possible anymore. Israel seized Jeruselem for themselves. This is a deal breaker by itself as Jerusalem was regarded as Palestine's capital. It is on the boundary of the West Bank and Israel have effectively moved it out of the West Bank. If the West Bank is supposed to be for the Palestinians as part of the two state policiy, then why is Israel building settlements there so fast.

some would disagree with you ..... and don't forget that jews drink the blood of gentile children too .... and they used to piss in your milk bottles in the days when those were commonplace and left on the doorstep

Clubman3509 - 18 Jun 2010 11:25 - 2854 of 6906

At school I used to give a jewish kid bacon and tell him it was good for him.

cynic - 18 Jun 2010 11:31 - 2855 of 6906

and so it was ..... interestingly, the bible (OT) permits jews to eat treff (non-kosher stuff) if it is a case of that or starvation

The European Parliament, meeting in Strasbourg for its June session, called for an international and impartial inquiry into Israel's attack on a humanitarian flotilla, the opening of all crossing points to and from Gaza and an immediate end to the blockade on Gaza in a resolution passed on Thursday. MEPs also advocate reshaping the EU's Middle East policy, to make it more decisive.

Israel should immediately end the Gaza blockade, which has resulted in a humanitarian disaster, paralyzed the Gaza Strip's reconstruction and economy and aggravated political radicalisation, say MEPs. At the same time, they call on EU High Representative Catherine Ashton to submit an EU plan to the Quartet to help end the blockade.

The resolution was approved in a roll-call vote, with 470 votes in favour, 56 against and 56 abstentions.

These two maps show the extent of Israeli control over the Palestinians.

but us jews ARE superior and that's no lie - how often do you goyim need to be told?

Clubman3509 - 18 Jun 2010 14:25 - 2860 of 6906

Superior to who the ragheads, that could be right. Bernard Madden my hero, was superior to the rest of his mob.

ptholden - 18 Jun 2010 14:31 - 2861 of 6906

'I said that we did not need it because of Nato. That is true....'

Wrong

'....but you just want to be pedantic.'

Wrong agian, just pointing out your constant disinformation and ill-informed opinion

'..... you really do get quite boring.'

Possibly correct, I'll leave others to make that judgement, as the most boring man on the planet Greg, you're not best placed to offer an opinion, but then being an expert on that particualr subject, possibly you are :-)

cynic - 18 Jun 2010 14:35 - 2862 of 6906

oh assuredly the ragheads and sand-wallahs, but in particular to the BNP and AWB and its followers (and their ilk) who have to hide behind a facade of so-called nationalism, bravado and bullying and bullshit in a vain attempt to disguise their innate inferiority

Haystack - 18 Jun 2010 15:27 - 2863 of 6906

Yes, we can get rid of Trident and rely on Nato. Other members of Nato do not have nuclear weapons and neither do we have to have them. It just requires the will to change our current agreements. It won't change overnight and would probably take a few years, but we can do it.

cynic - 18 Jun 2010 15:51 - 2864 of 6906

i would be quite careful about arguing the need for nuclear deterrent with peter as he has the background to have a better idea of what he is talking about than you, or indeed most/all of the rest of us

Gausie - 18 Jun 2010 16:04 - 2865 of 6906

Cynic - Haystack's trolling. The veracity or stupidity of his arguments are irrelevant to him. He's just trying to get a rise. I've met the guy many times. In real life he's not nearly as daft as he seems on this thread.
