vasey - 17 Nov 2003 11:14 - 2853 of 23498

Good morning, Cafettes! Just whizzed in to tidy the place after the weekend and put on some lunch, (Roasted vegetable lasagne and lemon mousse, since you ask!). I'll open a bottle of Cab. Sauv so it will be ready for Bunny and prepare a hot toddy for Socks, who still isn't 100% back to his usual self. A trifle under the weather still.

I met a couple of lurkers at Harrogate who said they saw my posts here but wouldn't dare post. C'mon, be brave. We talk to dogs, bunnies and socks here!. Say 'Hello!'

stockbunny - 17 Nov 2003 11:16 - 2854 of 23498

I'll pass up the Kit-Kat GD but you can tell me jokes any time
in a lit room or a dark one maybe we should take up Socs offer
of his Death by chocolate dessert might go really well with you
orgasmic or possibly organic (?!) nuts.....

JGP212 - you been feeling ill too huh? Looks like we all need
a blast of sunshine and warmth....Any chance Little Willie can
put us all up at his pad for a few months just to see out the winter
seems its warmer where he is....We'd all be very good, wouldn't
make a mess or much noise......((Don't think he'll believe that
for one minute but its worth a try!))

Anyone fancy Turkey or Croatia - property is cheap out there, sure
we could raise a fair deposit between us ((Carrots, bad jokes, mushrooms
Soc's choc. pud, JeffMack's DIY skills - all got to add up!!!)

jgp212 - 17 Nov 2003 12:05 - 2855 of 23498

stockbunny,

A blast of sunshine and plenty of Red wine for me please!!

I was considering going to South Africa next month but

the place is a mess (J'Borg and Pretoria are anyway)

Where does little willie live BTW?

:-)

Jeff

jeffmack - 17 Nov 2003 12:57 - 2856 of 23498

zarif - 17 Nov 2003 13:01 - 2857 of 23498

Cuppa D time.
Hope u all had a good week end ( no not a WEAK END -btw mines in a sling at the moment _ I wish!!!!!)
Be careful on the markets this week as all are on red alert and very very sensitive (that usually means fall like a stone to the ground -even if someone farts loudly in the cafe) and by the way i hope u read the sign on the door "no Camouflage jackets)

zarif

stockbunny - 17 Nov 2003 14:08 - 2858 of 23498

JGP212 - No idea where Little Willie lives but it always sounds warmer than
than where I am!!
Vasey - Am I too late for lunch? It sounds lovely, would love some...
Zarif - What?? Sling?? Whats in a sling??? ((Maybe you shouldn't answer that!))
It's a red alert week? Oh....No camouflage jackets? Are hard hats OK??

little woman - 17 Nov 2003 14:20 - 2859 of 23498

lw lives in South Africa, and I'm very tempted to join Vasey in a drink - but I keep telling myself its too early, and I really must do some work today!

little willie - 17 Nov 2003 14:40 - 2864 of 23498

jgp...jeff, we live in Paarl in the winelands. No trouble of any sort around here altho' of course we have to be aware?
Have best friends from uk with us at the mo.
Weather today, not a cloud in the sky, 36 degrees, faint breeze, pools 25 degrees, they're all in it except me checking my portfolio [pretty yuk!],
Nice cold '03 Boschendal sauvignon blanc in bucket and a braii tonight with three lots of neighbours.
No colds, flu or virus; all in all 'another shit day in Africa' but someones gotta do it.
New house going up at a rate of knots, this time next year all will be welcome to stay; I'll also have a website.
Just set up a car hire business.

fabulous rugby win over "Les Frogs", shall now retire singing "Waterloo".

Get well Roy!

stockbunny - 17 Nov 2003 14:48 - 2865 of 23498

The rain's pouring down Little Willie and yes I'm jealous!!! Which
way is S Africa? I'll start on a burrow now....
Little woman it's OK you can have one of these, I'll say they are
fat free and as there's no label on them.....Guilt-free indulgence!!

little woman - 17 Nov 2003 14:52 - 2866 of 23498

It's not the fat but the carborhydrates I can't eat! Its too cold & wet to go out there to burn the carbs..........

stockbunny - 17 Nov 2003 15:15 - 2867 of 23498

Understand...Could always pretend there's no carbs in it either or
possibly race up and down the hall/stairs half a dozen times...
No not a great way to spend the afternoon for the sake of a choc. eclair!
Agreed it is dull, damp and generally nasty outside even the cat
doesn't want to step outside the warren today!
No sign of our best favourite dog in here today I see..
